I think a lot more guys would be hooking up if we knew we wouldn’t be judged for it

It’s just weird because most guys aren’t fully straight anyways I’m not saying all guys are guy but most of us definitely fall somewhere in the middle (at least bisexual)

I also feel like a lot of women wouldn’t really care if It was more acceptable for men to fuck each other the only issue I see them having is cheating men are definitely easier to have sex with than women but a cheater is a cheater regardless so it doesn’t matter

The majority of men fall in the gray area anyways because we don’t get the liberty to explore what we like (idc what no one says you don’t know what you like till you try it ) that’s why we have downlown men and women catching AIDs and UTIs

I think the reactance theory is in full effect here

  • Oh yeah it would affect society. There's a minority of men who simply aren't having sex. Though that's a loose term as it's about 1/3 of them. Less women are having sex as well, but more are still going at it than men are.

That 1/3 of men is confused, angry, and generally gets the label of simps, betas, so on and so forth. If instead of propping up the egos of women who are or aren't having sex, they simply started having sex with each other. Oh boy, men would be happier and more productive, while a large number of women would still be bitter about "there's no good men" and waiting until 40-44 to become single moms, if that option was still even available, as those men might not be so interested in being used as a sperm donor anymore.

I don't know what the reactance theory is though. Could you explain that one?

    • It’s a theory that says basically when you tell someone not to do something it will make them want to do it more

    • Oh yes, that's about 70% of the reason behind my first marriage. It's a pretty good one for manipulating people and convincing them to come up with their own ideas that you gently suggest. I can't say the same for doing drugs though. I know a view that was commonly held when I was younger was "this is the result of peer pressure", really it was just boredom and extremely high availability. Being told in a Dewey Cox way how bad they were but how awesome they'd make you feel in DARE was a strange influence there too lol You ask a very interesting question, it is pretty widely accepted to be gay, but to be bi or bi-curious, what's the term I've heard most, "hole greedy" from gay and straight people if it's a guy. The implications if bi men were treated the same as bi women would be interesting indeed.

  • Nobody cares.

  • I think more would begin to come out and be more open about what they like and their desire to be with other men. You would also see more who are bicurious be less reluctant to seek out partners to experiment with and discuss it with other men. Homophobia would be less of a concern and the fear of a harsh rejection from said men. Even now most just say "sorry I dont swing that way" something to that effect if approached in a sexual way. Society is already evolving anyway in acceptance to understand the sexual fluidity of men and homosexuality in general so those on the down low are exploring more then they used to in private at least

  • I think more men do fuck each other than we realize. They just don’t talk about it the way ladies do.

    • I agree

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Speak for yourself, dude! I don't want to fuck any guy and that isn't because of what my friends might think. I have no attraction to other guys - really - and other people telling me it's okay won't change that.

  • If u wanna get with a guy do it little wtf if your bi or gay dont hide it

  • Probably be less gay guys complaining on Twitter

  • I find the thought of that to be rather disgusting.

  • It is more acceptable today, you see it in Hollywood. We are at a point that taking a pill daily 99% prevents HIV, just like how birth control is for women.

  • It's shown that it's mostly a societal factor when men and women become gay. So if society would be even more acceptable, even more guys would turn gay.

But that's definitely not a desirable outcome

  • I have no desire to be with a man or any attraction for them but I do notice which guys are better looking and seems like the gay men are usually good looking
