I just turned 45years old, currently married going on 7 years in an open marriage, I grew up in a small town in Texas, at 18 I married my first husband he was the first guy I had sex with, I birthed 4 kids with my first husband, he passed away about 13 years ago. Which was the start of my sexual revolution. I eventually met my wonderful current husband at a singles swinger party. We have had an open relationship from the start. Well, lots of people can have addictions and be completely functional in day to day life (quick shout out to those who are smokers and coffee drinkers for example).

Let me preface this with saying that I support you 100% to do what you feel works best for you. Now you do seem a little concerned about it considering you posted the question on here so I will address it with my opinion.

That kind of libido seems high to me personally, but if you are worried about it then maybe go speak with your doctor about it and maybe have them run your testosterone levels to see if they are escalated. If you feel it is something emotional or mental then maybe talk with a therapist.

I have known swingers and "hotwives" before, but I have never heard an explanation quite like that before.
