  • Sex was always intended for procreation and procreation only. The humans, along with a very few other mammals have diverted the original intend to something more degrading and in most cases, more humiliating for the one gender.

Thus, the spirituality that was intended to bond 2 human beings of the opposite gender to procreate has been lost since a while ago.

There is no longer spirituality in fornication because, let's be realistic, sex is nothing more than just fornication and copulation. It has lost all its meaning and only serves to get rid of excess sexual hormones with a few pathetic spasms to end the act.

    • a bleak perception ~ sex is brimful of inherent sanctity, it is not for procreation alone

  • Sex is the opposite of death, so sex is the symbol of life. I view it as a sacred and spiritual praxis, and even more spiritual when it happens between two people who are emotionally connected.

    • this is an excellent answer

  • Sex in the context of a meaningful relationship is much better, but quick throwaway sex is better than none at all.

    • sex with a stranger is not necessarily throwaway ~ it could be of epic significance
