Femboy - A male that looks feminine.
Trap - A femboy that is doing so for the specific purpose of sexually those of the same gender to feel sexual attraction towards you.
Trans - A mental illness that makes you believe you're the other gender when in reality you are not.
If you're being deceived by a trap it is not gay. Many trans are femboys but there are many non-trans femboys and traps. If you have any attraction to a being with a penis it is gay unless in a deceitful manner.
Penis or balls or not orientation is about what turns you on and that's based on the thoughts in the persons head. Like if some person is trans but you didn't know it and found them hot that doesn't mean you're secretly gay and in denial. It means you saw what looked to you like a woman and found "her" attractive BASED ON WHAT YOU PERCEIVED.
so if a guy is looking at a trans woman and sees her as a woman in his mind I wouldn't say he's necessarily non-straight. If he's turned on by her being trans or attracted to her as/because of the dick he's somewhere in the poly/bi space.

Its not gay to find someone attractive. You can be straight and admit someone of the same sex is attractive. But it would be gay if you're romantically/sexually interested in the same sex. So if he wanted to date or sleep with a man crossdressing as a woman then yea thats gay

I think if a man finds a trans woman attractive because he sees her as a woman then I say he is straight. If he finds her attractive because she is trans then it’s questionable.
If he's not aware that the person is trans then no he is probably not gay. If he is aware he is at the very least bi.

I think that most heterosexual men can be fooled by a photo of a transsexual but in person it is easier to tell. They might be attractive with their clothes on because they are doing everything in their power to look like a woman. I dont think it is gay to be attracted to someone that looks like a woman.
