Have you ever considered going nude at the beach? What are your opinions about beach nudity?

Over the weekend, I ticked an entry that has been on my bucket list for about four years since I moved to Germany. I went to a nude beach at Hiddensee. I saw naked adults, parents naked around their children, people just coming to the beach, throwing off all their clothes, wearing some sun lotion, standing upright, and then walking in the sand and going for a swim or splash. I mean social nudity is accepted here. There is no police running to catch people. It is interesting how nudity is not sexual or sexualised here.
It was very liberating for me to participate in naturism. For years I had battled body shape and I struggled with my changing body shape after puberty. But here people of all shapes and sizes move around without a scrap of clothing. No one cares and no one is surprised. There's nothing sexy about it. Just a very hot spring day and really no need for clothing if you don't feel like wearing.

You have seen the beauty of the naked life. Some people actually have purchased a share of the land at a nude resort and have a home there permanently. Living the life. And do not let the guy on here calling you a bull shitter. Nobody is forcing him to marry a guy. Nobody is forcing him to go nude (and probably would really prefer he never show the world that). Nobody is forcing him to have sex with underage people. Yet he acts like people are trying to force him. And by now, even the densest of the people who deny science have seen that global temperatures have definitely been rising. Well, obviously not the most dense people.

I've been to several, always in Europe. Regrettably, the first time I went, no one reminded me to put sun screen on my dick and ball sack. To say that a sun burn there is painful is like saying the sun provides useful light to the Earth.

I've been quite a few times, and if I wasn't so landlocked, I'd go more often. Its such a great feeling being nude on the beach. I agree with you about the liberating feeling and about it being good for body image.

As a frequent nude beach visitor, I think you'd be surprised just how little ogling is going on. Most people are just minding their own business or interacting with their own group of people.

I've been to a nude beach and I found it very liberating. At first I was nervous about being naked in front of other people. Although I shower naked at the pool being on the beach in public was very intimidating. I was nervous about women thinking I looked unsatisfactory, because my flaccid penis looks small and shrinks a lot after a swim in the sea. I was also nervous about getting an erection.

I found people accepting, woman either didn't pay any attention or smiled and were friendly. The beach was mixed nude and clothed so there were some people in swimwear or beach wear and others naked. I felt vulnerable being naked, but it was also very liberating. I'm insecure about my appearance and my penis, but having people see me in one go and accepting was very liberating. I also felt more confident.

I've barely ever been to a beach at all, TBH, just a handful of times in my entire life, as I can recall.

The idea of being naked around others doesn't sound appealing to me, I mean I'll show most of my legs and maybe be topless, but that's about it, I'm not showing my front and back areas, everything else, I'm probably cool with.

It's nice that no one really cares about it over there, but I still wouldn't be comfortable with it, I don't think.

"No one cares and no one is surprised." That sums up a big part of why nonsexual social nudity is so liberating. When everyone is naked it's like no one is naked, you know? Anyway I've participated in recreational nudity at an AANR club near where I live and I think it's a very healthy experience.

I do agree with you though, nudity itself isn't a big deal. People get all crazy when they see someone nude, doing nothing sexual. Many years ago, there was a family that took pictures of their little boys in the tub taking a bath and took the film to a store to be developed (pre digital camera's) and the store called the police to report child porn for kids playing in a tub.

Police did not charge them, but the fact that people think nudity is porn is disturbing.

Maybe some day if I could find a nude beach, but I am not sure I'd want to go to another state (in my case the nearest state would be california) to see if they have any.

I went swimming in a gorge one summer. There were 20-30 people there and most of them were naked. Most were college age I guess, so when in Rome. Myself and my friends got naked and went in the cold water. The result was just what you would expect.

After a while it starts feeling strange that people don't feel okay about showing their bodies, it's like they wanting to hide their faces.
