I've been with girls of different races, and that included girls who preferred white guys, and who weren't really into guys of their own race. Everyone can have their preferences regarding looks. Some like blonde hair, some like brown hair, some like red hair. Some like blue eyes, some like brown eyes, some like green eyes. Some like straight hair, some like curly hair. Some like a certain combination of things.
So, I can understand that people have (sexual) preferences for other people with a certain skin colour. That isn't racism, it's simply that you're attracted to people with certain looks.
I can be attracted to girls of any race, but I know other guys who prefer white women with blue eyes and blonde hair to have a relationship with. To each their own preferences.
Since being attracted to a specific race isn't a fetish by definition i assume a lot of this is to do with how people manifest it. Personally i don't mind it at all, have fun and enjoy your kinks even if your attracted to a steriotype or cultural norm. Your bedroom, your fun. But i assume its the 'I want you to do steriotypical race thing X because it turns me on' that some take offense to.
To be honest, I think people who try to force stereotypes onto others are extremely immature. But stereotypes and sexual attraction are totally different things.
There’s nothing wrong with being more romantically interested in a certain race, culture or type of man more than others. I’m Latina, and I’m not sorry I had a thing for white men when I was single. I ended up marrying one. You only get one life, live it the way you feel makes you happy. If being wanted by a certain ethnic group turns you on, more power to you.

I asked a similar question before and someone said it's because we expect them to live up to their racial stereotypes.
Some people are fucking stupid. They should be flattered we find their type attractive. I'm like you. I think there's nothing hotter than a brown girl with a fetish for white boys, especially if she wants a serious relationship too. And those girls are usually happy if a white boy fetishisizes THEIR race.
It's funny though because a lot of these women find race fetish from men gross, but then talk about how much they love white boys, and are flattered when they're hot on. I think a lot stems from jealousy too.
But in general I've found women to be far more critical of race fetish then men.
I know a lot of women of color with a white fetish, the American ones are more shy about it because they otherwise they get ashamed by others, especially by jelly liberal white women. And I'm the last person in the world that would get offended by women of color fetishizing white men. 😆
