Have you ever experienced a satisfying case of karma?

I just found out the mega bitch from one of my previous jobs who targeted me and was mean to me got fired for giving herself a $20K raise! 🤣 They saw what a bitch she was to me. And even admitted they knew she treated me poorly, yet did nothing about it. Big surprise, I did not stick around. And it appears she did not improve any. Lol. I hope she has to pay it back! And she certainly won’t qualify for unemployment. THIS counts as an egregious, intentional, neglectful act that is damaging to a company.

She was the payroll manager. I am really not sure how she didn’t think she would get caught.

  • Multiple times, in Hinduism you can consider karma as a goddess 😊 I believe league of legends depicts her as a sun goddess, it differs per culture.

When I was in college, many Indians made fun of the subjects I chose: Maths Physics Electronics and Geology. Most. of them chose like Maths, Biology, Chemistry etc, geared towards medicine, pharmacy and dentistry profession. All the same, now some people who made fun of me hate their profession and I love mine 😊. They are suffering because they bullied people like me

    • Efff them! You did great!

    • Exactly 😄 I enjoy watching them suffer and Karma work, I'm a little sadistic like that 🤷🏽‍♂️ only if I feel they deserve it.

    • Thanks for the MHO L2L 😊

  • That’s hilarious! So she just changed her salary in the system and started paying herself extra? She could actually be prosecuted for this but they will probably just fire her and ask her to return the money. As someone who works in accounting/finance, I can certainly appreciate how stupid her plan was. She might as well have just made up an employee and started direct depositing the paycheck to her account. At least a fake employee would’ve bought her more time.

    • It is a very small family owned company. I don’t think a fake employee would have flown. She managed payroll and somehow managed to give herself a $20K raise. Who does that? 🤣

    • That’s even worse! Their salaries expense probably tripled just from her getting her little raise. I was thinking it was 500 employees but that’s even harder to get away with.

    • Yup. I am sure it hurt them. And her predecessor really wanted to retire. She screwed them in so many ways.

  • Lmao a 20k raise? She shot for the moon huh? That is some pretty satisfying karma.

I think I wanna go the other way on this. One of my wife's closest friends is an absolute peach of a woman. Extremely supportive of lgbt, hard worker, very giving her time, just an all around great person.

Unfortunately she was in a really bad and abusive marriage. She eventually got away from him and for years dealt with his nonsense. She tried to date a few times but nothing was sticking until she met the man she is with now. He had kids from a previous including one who is autistic with sensory issues and without missing a beat she learned everything she could about it and has been a great mom.

The only thing that she was missing was a daughter, but she was told she would likely not get pregnant again due to health issues.

This is a karma post, so you know where this is going.

Sure enough she eventually did get pregnant and it happened to be a girl. She also married that guy she met and they are doing great. I couldn't be happier for her.

    • True fucking story my friend!

  • I don't really technically believe in karma, but I'm happy for you about this woman. She sounds like a real...

I can't think of any good examples from my own life. But I did say, just a couple nights ago to my husband, how much I enjoy watching awful people on reality TV eventually get taken down and get their comeuppance. There are so many arrogant, conceited, narcissists out there (especially those who will go on a TV show as 'talent' but really have none, except their unabashed ego and desire to have 5 min of fame.) They embarrass themselves, with all their big talk. Sometimes it's just an act; sometimes they really do believe they're the shit. But most of them don't survive the way they came in. Their egos get shattered when true reality hits. And that is beautiful!

    • I have to agree with that. How about Josh Duggar arrested for child porn? Smh. What a disaster he made of his life.

  • I have never in my life believed in such things. However, there have been so many positive coincidences in favor of me whenever I have been wronged. It is hard for me to ignore it.
I don't know how that works, but it is a good feeling. It feels as if justice has been served without you needing to do anything.

I am glad that the woman who treated you bad, had to face punishment. I hope that incident gives her a good lesson to learn from. I hope she becomes a slightly bit better after it.

  • We had a guy that we suspected of stealing tools and materials, but we could never prove anything. He got caught on a job site red handed. We were doing s walk through and turn a corner to find 6 guys beating the absolute fuck out of him. Turns out her tried to pocket one of the trim guys finish nailers. He got handed an ass whooping and pink slip in one day.

  • I worked with a guy who was arrogant, condescending, and liked to make jokes at the expense of employees he supervised.

He contracted ALS around age 50 and is now totally disabled. All of the money in the world can't save him.

    • Ooooooh. That is some karma.

    • I don't feel any satisfaction that he is disabled but it damned sure is karma.

    • I get that. He probably has a new perspective on life now.

  • No. i don't think karma exists and I've almost never seen any signs that it does.

  • How does anyone give themselves a raise? I need to know the secret!

    • She managed payroll.

  • No not really I let go and let God handle it

  • I don't find it satisfying, or good, in any way, when I warn someone, of a bad choice (managers at work!!) and it goes bad! I am sad, for them, that they couldn't listen, and hear what I had to say, and avoid the horrible mistake I could see coming!
I did all I could, to stop it, but many times, they made HORRIBLE decisions, and things went bad.
Nothing to be gained by saying "I told you so". . .

  • A GOP lawmaker who spouted Anti-Vax rhetoric died of covid. I think that's the PERFECT response karma could've given an anti-vax idiot

  • There was this guy who bragged about strangling stray cats for fun. The same day he fell from his bunk bed and broke his arm.

    • Yessssss. He deserved that.

  • I haven't had anything so reward as that.

But I feel like I worked hard to do things the right way and found a girl who could meet my emotional needs. At least she showed me what was possible. Maybe there is more for me out there.

  • that shit doesn't fly in payroll so she might do it again elsewhere

    • I am hoping she gets a bad reputation and is unhirable.

  • Have not experienced so far, LOVES. I try to help others, but have not seen the reverse

    • Others don’t help you?

    • What I meant was, that I have stopped at night or on the freeway or in parking lots to help stranded motorists. I think one person stopped when I was was stopped in the Tesla after some asshole threw something off of an overpass on the car.

    • I stop to help too. When I slipped off the school bus and dropped my books not 1 of the 10 kids after me stopped to help.

  • Oof. It takes a while but they always bring themselves down

    • Indeed they do. So very satisfying.

    • Lmao, it sounds like they deserved after what they did to you

    • She totally deserved it lol. And my former employer is hurting now for having kept her on and me leaving.

  • Awesome!!!

  • In my case life has been so unfair that I don’t believe in karma.

    • I get that. Do you think that person that wronged you and treated you so poorly ever suffered?

    • It depends on which person, but the ones who suffered did not suffer after their unfair actions as opposed to having miserable inner lives to begin with, so it is not as if there has been any sort of karmic retribution. In my experience, the most selfish and willing to bend or violate ethical boundaries tend to get ahead at the expense of others. That said, I am not bitter about it. I have accepted lack of justice as reality and will make the best of it.

    • Living such a manipulative, angry, miserable life is karma in and of itself.

  • Yes, karma is bitch.. This neighbor would tease me at the bus stop
and my dog was killing her little dog and I saved her dog from getting
    killed

  • Wow, how cool is that. I just said that Karma was a crock but I am glad this happened. Score one for the good guys.

    • 🎉🥳😆

  • I boy that bullied a lot of kids including me in school was killed in a car crash about 10 years after graduation. I can't say I was happy he died, but I wasn't particularly sad either.

    • Yes. I can see how you would have that feeling.
