Ladies (and gents I guess) ever had a UTI?

This is my first. Never had one before. It burns when I pee. And I feel like I have to go constantly. I was lucky enough to get a virtual visit but when I called the pharmacy the automated system said it would be ready at 8:40. I showed up at 8:30 to pick it up; pharmacy closed at 8:00. 😒

I had a crushed urethra when I was 19 and it had to be surgically repaired. The subsequent scar tissue allows bacteria to gather and causes UTIs. I used to only get them every few years but they have become more frequent and I have had 4 this year. I have to see a doc and have him take a peek next week.

I went to Urgent care, and said I had a UTI. The Female doctor IMMEDIATELY DISMISSED that, saying "Men don't get those!" She offered no help, but thought it might be a prostrate problem, and she wasn't at all caring, doing the 'exam'!!
A week later, at my first colonscopy, I am diagnosed with stage IIB Colon cancer, and it had perforated my bladder, causing a SEVERE UTI!!

Yes I have, girl if the doctor gave you that one time pill, do not use it! It gave me a yeast infection afterwards and the doctor confirmed it does that because it wipes away the vaginas good bacteria. Definitely try to get your hands on organic cranberry juice with no added sugars

  It might have been that actually. It’s been a few years. The yeast infection pill was a one time pill.

Yeah I've had several bladder infections. The worst part for me is feeling like I need to go every 5 minutes, I never got the burning part of the infection. Thankfully after a day or so on antibiotics that achy bladder feeling starts to get better.

Hey, Sweet Pea, I feel your p-pain. I was catharized, for a big surgery when I was 30, and when I woke up, (I didn't know I had been catharized) and it burned like hell the first time I had to pee. My surgeon, a woman, gave me lidocaine to put on the tip of my penis to stop the horrible burning. I know how that BURNS. Get the meds ASAP

I've had epididimytis twice. Crazy painful. Both times, it was definitely stress-induced. I was under way too much stress that my immune system must have weakened. Antibiotics cleared it up.

  It's a bacterial infection in the epididymis. That's what surrounds the back of each testicle to collect the sperm. It's sort of like the cap on an acorn. You can see the epididymis's outline if you pull the testicle tight against the scrotum.

  And, I didn't say or admit this to the doctor, but when this happened, I had to release A LOT, like 4 or 5 times per day, maybe even 6. It's like my body was trying to clean itself out & fight the infection. I was in so much pain, and then was constantly feeling so full...
