It is honestly completely messed in all kinds of aspects. I was personally calling multiple organizations in which i could become an advocate for those men who have been falsely accused of rape, sexual assault or other crimes that are mostly committed towards women.
I remember there was an ex girlfriend i had whom when i woke up in the middle of the night, she was on top of me and my penis inside her. When i asked her why she did it, she said she was just excited and wanted to have sex with me. I obviously felt like i couldnt call the cops as she got off when i awoke. A few months later, she had slapped me, started breaking things in the house and even broke my phone and prescription glasses. It was then i decided to intervene and hold her by her forearms asking her to calm down. As soon as i let her go, she called the cops and i was arrested for DV. Eventually charges were dropped when this woman sent me a text admitting guilt and stating i had never touched her until she did and that she would be willing to do classes if it were needed.
Needless to say, there has been numerous times in which a man is falsely accused by a woman, and there is normally nothing a man can do because the US is a womans country ruled by men that side women.
Sorry that happened to you. That was 100% rape/SA

It is a double standard, but then again much of modern society is.
It is because of society pushing bullshit it makes people assume men always want sex or always initiate it so when men are victim of SA they aren’t heard because they fear 1. Going for help, they believe will emasculate them because of toxic standards placed on men. That’s also why men commit s*cide more. Because they are afraid of the stigma on getting help from other people.
2. They will doubt and make up excuses or gas light themselves to try and avoid the actual problem.
It’s sad and needs to be addressed. Society treats male victims like shit

It is just so dumb. The arousal excuse is the most dumbest of all especially since it is just the body reacting. It happens to women at times too after they have been victims of sexual assault. Do you know who Oscar De La Hoya is?
It is dumb but I’ve also never seen anyone make fun of it.
