Is it normal for my brother to tell me he's getting circumcised?

I would think 'normal', why not? Like any surgical procedure. I told my friends I was having plastic surgery, and that was a little sensitive for me. As an adult, he is in for a really painful time, post op, I can tell you that. Brave guy to get circumcised as an adult.
