I don't recall being told to wait six weeks but it was definitely 2 or 3 weeks.
I don't think I'd be able to wait that long to fuck the woman who had my kid.
I'm one of those weird kinds of guys who's turned on by a fertile woman so as soon as her stomach gets big I'd be getting regularly horny like a rabbid dog and that'd probably stick until a little while after.
Well before and after birth I didn't know what sex was I did I wait six weeks no I waited 15 and 1/2 years I didn't even know we could have sex after birth

My doctors never gave me this 6 week rule. Or any rules on sex after birth. (possibly cause I didn't have stitches and had easy births) We had sex at 2 weeks after my first and 4 weeks after my second. During those weeks we waited we still did blow job's and had sexy time but avoided actually having sex.

With my current wife we waited, but continued to do other things.
I don't remember exactly but a) I do not remember a 6 week rule and b) If we did have a six week rule we probably did it anyway.
What I do remember was doing it in the hospital parking lot before we went in the have my first son. The baby class we took said that it would help things along. That's why we did it (hhaha)

Having sex the night before she gave birth to my first child was what put her in labor. My daughter was passed her due date so my wife's doctor told us to have wild sex so she could go in labor. It worked.
