I just think its nasty to see someone date so young. Makes me feel like that 30/40/50 year old man was looking at the “18 year old” when they were 14/15/16/17 too. Its just cringey. Its like they counted down the years til the child was legal. And if their own child is the same age as the kid they’re hitting on then thats even worse. I think the main reasoning is that even if they are legal age, an older person is still "taking advantage" because they have more experience and so they are seen as tricking the younger person into sex.
This is more of a comment on the critic than on the people having sex. It shows that the critic comes from a mindset of taking advantage of others if possible. We relate to the world through our own lens. These are the kinds of people who get someone drunk to fuck them, or use other tricks. Also the kinds that are viewing sex as a negative thing due to religion or traditional antiquated perspectives, rather than a pleasurable experience shared by two people.
I personally enjoy younger partners but I feel I am moral/ethical and not tricking anyone into having sex with me that isn't willing. There are many young women who enjoy the dynamic of interactions with an older man.

1. I think women 35+ are the ones that judge for being with a younger woman because they are jealous that they missed their chance. They mostly get mad if he is a good man and wants long term and to create a family.
2. The older women with a younger man is usually seen as just a hook up and not taken seriously because they know that is usually the reason a younger man would go with an older woman. They are judged as hook up people in that situation and the relationship isn't taken seriously by other people.
Because legality does not always correlate with morality. There are parts of the world where you're 'legal' at age 12, does that make it okay?
The thing is, for any man in their 30's and above actively pursuing barely legal women IS kinda sus and I will question the maturity of such men. I can't explain the psychological damage done to me by dating a man nearly a decade older than me and now that I'm reflecting on what a predator he was it really upsets me but I'm also so much happier than I've ever been in a while. Undoing one damage done at a time and finally focusing on myself haha ❤️💪

They assume that he's just got some weird fettish or that I'm going through a midlife crisis. They also might assume we've got a sugar mama/baby relationship (which we don't). They also just think it's weird because it's really unusual. Then there are people who think it's great that you're fucking a much younger guy but blow their lid when they find out you're in a real committed relationship with him.

Depends. Some places under 18 is legal.
It's like that here.. With limitations. If the person is under 18, and between 16 and 17, legally they can have sex with someone who is 18.. But nothing older than 18.. Most places in the US where the age of consent is under 18 have similar rules about it.
