I don’t think at anytime in history it’s been encouraged, going back to the Ancient Greeks and likely earlier, it’s just been a natural thing that guys and girls do with their respective genders.

A good sign of a progressive and modern society is to be free from bigotry, to be free from religious persecution, free from people abusing kids. That same older society that banned homosexuality was the same one that allowed religious officials abuse generations of kids.

Sexuality is a natural thing, it does not need encouragement, it does however need freedom from hate and abuse, it needs freedom from stupid people with stupid ideas, freedom from 6th century thinking, it needs parents and society to be accepting where their child is finding their sexuality. What it does not need is a society and parents that terrify young people about their sexuality.

Any parent can be faced with having to support their kids coming out and need to be their for love and support.

I don't think it should be encouraged but it definitely should not be discouraged. Young people need to figure out who they are and their sexual orientation on their own.

With or without encouragement or discouragement, it exists and has existed since probably the beginning of time. It didn't show up on the scene just recently. Nobody encourages it, just that those who choose an alternate lifestyle sexually are free to pursue it without as much stigma as society placed on it in the past. It doesn't affect how I live my life, and whatever lifestyle someone chooses is of no concern to me.

Fuck no. Gay's shouldn't be stigmatized, but why should homosexuality be encouraged? I hate that there is a radical LGBTQ agenda taking over our schools and indoctrinating impressionable young children. We should treat children like normal boys and girls and let them discover on their own if they are gay, trans, gender fluid, alt-sexual or whatever the fuck.

How can you encourage homosexuality, some is either homosexual or not.  Only thing thats important is they are accepted and not persecuted for whatever sexual orientation they have.

I'm not sure it needs anymore encouragement than its already getting. I don't really think any persuasion needs encouragement, whether it be straight, gay lesbian, bisexual or and of the many other orientations. People just do what they feel comfortable with. Being any orientation is totally acceptable these days and no need for anyone not to pursue their true sexuality anymore.

However personally, I don't care if a person is gay or not. It's their life, let then live it how they want. As long as they aren't hurting anyone, no harm no foul.

Sexuality should not be encouraged, it will naturally be came to. So therefore it should be supported.

I speak from experience. This is an issue that stems into many other issues. This is an issue that can sever family bonds.
