No, that is not normal at all. If they want to know if you are still virgin they can ask you. What you decide to tell them in reply is completely your choice. The legality of consent or giving permission to any examination varies depending upon where you live, so check that out. Back a few centuries ago when I was in High School I knew 3 sisters from a strict religious family where the Dad was a gynecologist and checked them regularly for any signs of vaginal sexual activity. All three learned to enjoy sex anally as a substitute.

Back just a few years ago when I was in high school, two girls (sisters) turned went to Child Protective Services and asked to be removed from their parents' home and placed in a safe place. The parents were submitting the girls involuntarily to humiliating genital examinations any time they'd been out with others, or basically anytime on the parents' whim. They were placed with another family during the investigation, and the parents freely admitted to frequently forcing the girls to submit to genital exams as they thought it was their "duty to protect their virtue" and invoked some hokey religious doctrine. The girls asked to be removed permanently and the request was granted. The parents were charged with multiple counts of sexual assault, several on a child under 14. They were sentenced to two years, but served only six months and paid a hefty fine. After that they divorced but both earned a lifetime place on the sex offender registry.
