Do men lose respect for a woman if she asks for or wants anal sex?

I don't know why they would? My first, anal sex was with a very pretty woman I met at a Parents Without Partners meeting. I was 'struck' with her immediately, as she was very pretty, and tiny, as I am a smaller man and we just seemed to 'fit' together.
We had conventional sex several times, and one evening at my place, she asked me if I ever did it like "queers do it". At that point in my sex life, and always for that matter, I have never been presumptuous, with a woman about what she wants.
After the 'light' came on, I understood and she asked me if I would like to try it, and of course I did, and for the most part, that is what we did from that point on, and, of course, I switched back and forth from her anus, to her vagina periodically.

One thing, I realized later that, 'switching' back and forth is not good, but luckily, for her she did not develop any infections from it.

I still think about her to this day and wonder how she is, and wish we could have made
a life together.

for me, not at all, if she asks for it it is nice because she knows what she wants, just like any other sex act and she isn't afraid to ask for it. That can take the guess work out of having sex, if each partner would like something (s) special go ahead and ask.
I might not think that some certain act is something that you might want or not want.
