  • Not all women have a 26" underbust, as you constantly keep referring to.

    I know for a fact that I have a 34" underbust, with a 39" overbust... Which equals a 34DD bust.

Now argue your way out of this.

    • I never once said all women have a 26" underbust. Yes a 34" underbust and 39" bust is a 34DD. Why would I argue with you? What you've said is completely true.

    • Thank You. But are you still adamant that they're still not Big or at least of average size?

    • I'm curious, why did you think I thought all women had 26 inch underbusts? And why did you think I was going to argue with you?

What I am adamant about is: DD is neither small, medium or average because DD is not a size. 26DD is a small size. 34DD is an average size (depending on individual perception - here is a fairly well-fitted 34DD, to me this is average d289cc1wmx9gcg.cloudfront.net/.../...8c671015.jpg)

  • Big boobs to me doesn't have to be as big as others consider to be big. Some B cups I've seen in person looked big to me. I'm very easy on the boobie department though lol 😊. I guarantee any DDs I'll consider big.

    • Name someone with DD's (just so I can get an idea)

    • Kate Upton's boobs for example are big to me. Smaller than that are big to me. My longest relationship she had perky B cups and they were big to me lol

    • Kate Upton is roughly a 30G/GG. Nowhere near a DD cup! A DD cup on her frame would be small. For example, Margot Robbie - 30D/DD. 90% of women wear the wrong bra size so it's extremely likely that girl was wearing the wrong bra size.

  • Only depends on what measuring system u use in the one that's widely accepted DD does equal big boobs

    • Nope! In the UK and US sizing systems, a 5 inch difference between underbust and bust measurement is called a DD cup. In the EU sizing system, a 5 inch difference is called an E cup. Same size, different names.

    • The 'widely accepted' notion that you're referring to, is a societal misconception.

    • Yet its still used yes it may be incorrect yet its used enough to the point its understood and works

  • I know that a cup letter size without a band size doesn't really tell you much about breast volume.

    • Very true! A 26DD is much smaller than a 40DD.

  • I will tell you guys definitely know the difference between B's and D's honey. Quit making excuses for yourself.

    • Ok, tell me the difference with a visual comparison.

    • Tell you with a visual? D's stick out a lot more that B's. You know, sweater-puppies. What exactly are you confused about anyway? You have a pair of tits don't you?

    • So, these are B's? Did you know that DD doesn't equal big boobs?

  • Oh really? Damn. I had no idea

    • You learn something new every day!

    • I guess so

  • Yup I did, there are a number of factors that go into play for that.

    • Very true.

    • I only know this because I watched how they measured my wife, and they explained it to me.

    • Good, I hope they measured her right! Many people measure the underbust and then add 4/5 inches, that's incorrect.

    • Show All
  • Yeah they do. Letters are bust size and the numbers mainly reflect shoulder width.

How am I a man but I know more than you? Come on. 🙄

    • I'm afraid you don't know more than me! The number, or band size, refers to your underbust measurement (nothing to do with shoulders). The letter refers to the difference between your bust measurement and your underbust measurement. DD is a 5 inch difference and contrary to what society tells you, this is not large. Also, DD isn't static either - a DD on a 26 inch underbust (26 band, 26DD) will be much smaller than a DD on a 40 inch underbust (40 band, 40DD). For example, Ariana Grande is roughly a 26DD, and I don't think anyone would call her large-chested.

    • So 40DD would be relatively small tatas on a massive af ribcage. Got it.

    • Yes it would be small-medium (depending on personal perception) boobs on a wide frame. But it would still have a LOT more volume than a 26DD (Ariana Grande, Keira Knightley, etc).

  • Yes, but its the thought that turns me on. 😜

    • Right...

  • I thought double DD's where the biggest they can be until they get into the enormous area when they are E and G and so on.

    • Nope! A lot of people think this but E, F, FF, G, GG are actually pretty common and most people wearing DD cups should be wearing way bigger but they don't realize because like you, they think that E+ = enormous!

    • I just don't get the size scale of boobs and always get mixed answers. I had a girl tell me C cups are big boobs but another girl tell me they are medium.

    • 90% of women wear the wrong bra size, and the majority of people don't understand bra sizing, so yeah I'm not surprised you get mixed answers.

  • Tbh I thought DD meant really big

    • A lot of people (guys AND girls) think that, you're not alone!

  • Aren't G cups pretty hefty?

    • Depends what you consider hefty. Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian are roughly G cups.

  • DD does equal big boobs. Proportionally though.

    • Incorrect.

    • How so?

    • Because cup sizes go as far as Z. A-DD are the smallest sizes in a very large range. All that DD means is that there's a 5 inch difference between your underbust and bust measurements - two circumference measurements. When this is spread out across each boob (also taking into account the extra width at bust level compared to underbust level) that's less than 2.5 inches of projection per boob. Most girls that wear DD cups actually need something like G cups or bigger. Katy Perry is a G cup for example, but the internet will tell you she's a C/D. Similarly, Ariana Grande, Keira Knightley and other small-busted celebrities are all D+. As I said, cup sizes go as far as Z. So like the largest cup sizes, the smallest cup sizes (AA, A, B, even C) are actually quite rare. The 'average' bra size according to most bra fitters is roughly in the F, FF, G, GG range.

  • I noticed

    • What do you mean

  • DD is large for people shaped people. Fat girl boobs are a different animal. A lot of guys are only into people shaped peoplem

    • What are 'people shaped people'?

    • People who are shaped like people. Not blobs. I'm currently working my ass off and eating healthy to try and get people shaped.

    • Ok, for 'people shaped people' DD is still not large.

  • And being over 6 feet doesn't make a better man. But I tell you what how bout you stick your illusions and we'll stick to ours.

    • So you think DD automatically means big boobs? You have been fooled by societal misconceptions about bra sizing!

  • I've never known a girl with DD boobs who wasn't big.

    • 90% of women wear the wrong size, so those girls were probably not DD. Most women who wear DD cups actually need G+ but because a lot of stores only carry up to DD cup sizes, large chested women assume they must be DD.

  • DD = bigger than A or B cups on a girl with the same band size. There aren't too many band sizes that matter either before a girl becomes too big to matter for dating purposes. And once she's undate-able her brasize is irrelevant.

    • Correct, but true A and B cups are rare. Even C cups are uncommon. A huge amount of small busted women are C+ and they don't even realize it. Ariana Grande is probably like a 26DD, for example. Also, the question doesn't ask anything about dating.

    • Sure, but guys only really care about bra sizes on girls that are dateable. That actually simplifies things for must of us a lot.

    • I didn't ask do guys care about bra sizes.

  • According to what source

    • Unfortunately you won't find many sources because it's not common knowledge. Best sources for accurate bra sizing information would be bra fitting groups and bra fitting blogs. You won't find accurate bra sizing information across general social media. There's a misconception that A = very small, B = small, C = medium, D = large, DD = very large and anything over DD = huge - this isn't true at all. Cup sizes are static, so an FF cup for example can be very small, medium or large depending on the band size. We hear DD and think = large boobs but it doesn't at all. DD is usually small or medium. Ariana Grande is roughly a DD for example (26DD).
