How can I be totally safe from getting pregnant? If he is using a condom is that enough or should I still be worried?

  • In life you're going to find out that we know things before they happen if we pay attention.

I believe you're asking this question for a reason because you know something that could happen to you
I believe that you are thinking ahead of time and knowing just because he's wearing a condom that doesn't mean anything you're smart girl asking this question you're also giving permission to yourself to answer it you know to be honest 10 sparked your responsibility to actually it's all your responsibility because it's your body and you know anything and everything can happen when you don't want it to so I honestly think you're asking should I get on the pill to protect myself even more. I think you should listen to yourself

    • Sorry I should have proof read that before I sent it hope you understand what I was trying to say

  • I’ve had sex with myriad women. Only one time did the condom break but that was only because it was too small when I had nothing that night.
I never once got anyone pregnant. I always pulled out before I cummed too. Only a couple gfs where I used no condom. Get on birth control too and watch out if you use any new medicines because some will make birth control ineffective.

  • I have always been on birth control. I also always insisted on a condom. Now, with my current SO it is a bit different as I view him as "the one".

After both of us had a clean sexual health checkup, ditched the condoms and kept the birth control. I use the ring, if that is of any value.

    • Thank you for MHG

  • Using a condom is usually enough (proper usage will protect you up to 98%). If you're paranoid and/or really serious about not having a kid right now, you could use condoms and also a hormonal contraceptives of some kind.

  • get into cocksucking for me it's more exciting

  • You're 28. Surely you've heard of birth control.

  • Just get an IUD and use a condom. You can even have him pull out too.

  • The only way of being totally safe is to not have sexual intercourse. Personally, I would never rely on a condom alone I haveAlso always used a hormone based contraception

  • What has your doctor told you?

  • Should be if he’s wearing it right don’t fret or worry too much. I was scared too but you should be just fine but if you wanna take plan b with it go ahead I did that but there’s like a 1% to 2%chance of pregnancy with a condom

  • If you're not on birth control, then you need to be... Double Protection.

  • Condoms are pretty safe but you should still tell him to pull out when he cums to be even more safe if you don’t want to get prego, some condoms do have the tendency to rip so it’s better safe than sorry

  • I have had condoms fail twice. One broke without knowing and one was probably slightly defective. Do not really on just condoms. Get a good birth control. But you should always use a condom, always a good idea.

    • OK thank you.

  • The only way to be totally safe is not to have sex. Get on birth control and use condoms. That’s the way to be most safe and still have intercourse.

  • Use two forms of protection.

  • Condoms are pretty safe (like 95%) not getting pregnant and getting a std but if you wanna enhance it get on the pill or buy insectside.

  • Probably enough but if you are that worried tell him to pull out. My first regular sex partner and I used condoms and pill. Sometimes We would not use a condom when drunk but not often.

  • take birth control and condoms or better yet wait till your ready for kids to have sex

  • The pill is very effective. He doesn’t even have to worry about a condom if you’re on the pill.

  • It is called birth control for a reason.

  • Condoms are definitely good but still not 100%. I’ve had a condom break before. You should talk to your doctor about birth control and then still use a condom to protect against stds.

  • Condom with birth control
    Condom burst sometimes

  • Well, in 2 years your fertility will begin a steep decline, sooooo...

    • That is true but lots of women in 30s have healthy kids. My mom had me at 38 and I have no health issues OH and I’m 23 just fine and super active but no birth issues health whatsoever

  • If condoms were 100% at preventing conseption I would say yes. I have had condoms break from hard thrusting no lube and breaking the end, defective condom slip off. So I would say your 80% covered from getting pregnant back up with another form of birth control to lessen chance s of pregnancy
