If you travel in the England from the Midlands up. You will find a lot of multiracial couples. It does happen in London but you get more of a mix meaning Asian and black, Mexican and black etc etc.
But up north I think the whit and black population matches more than the percentage of Asian. Asians generally stick to their own due to religion. Or marry white. I think personally its more acceptable and probably more suited especially if they don't align themselves with traditions. Black and Asian culture isn't really that different.
Like anything I really think that if there is a girl /woman you fancy the only way you'd know if you stand a chance is if you approach her.
As for the BBC situation not all black men have a BBC and we really need to stop playing into this dumb stereotype because we as black people are worth more than just our sexuality.
