Who shaves all of their pubic hair?

When did you start removing all of it? What is the best way you have found to keep ingrown hairs away?

I started waxing (Brazillian) about a year ago and, honestly, it's the best decision I ever made. It's simple, it's fast and it makes the hair that grows back thinner and softer, and there are products to help prevent ingrown hairs. Honestly, since I started waxing and following the instructions as given, I haven't had a problematic ingrown hair even once.

It does hurt just a bit, but if you go regularly (5-6 weeks) it gets less painful each time. And trust me, I've got thick hair everywhere so I know how painful it could be, and it's really not, at least if you go to the right person. Then walk out with a exfoliating scrub and maybe a serum and you'll be good to go. Razors, to me, aren't worth it, because they dull up so fast and often end up ripping the hair, making it more likely to become ingrown, and you can get cuts and all kinds of nasty infections if you're not careful.

I get a wax every 6 weeks or so. No problems with re-growth. I started shaving with an electric lady shaver as soon as it started growing. I hated having hair! I progressed to waxing at 17. Went with my mum to a salon.

I trim the pubes but shave the shaft, balls, and surrounding area daily with an electric razor. I started doing this about 15 years ago. If you get ingrown hairs try not shaving so close or see if you can find somewhere that will do laser hair removal on men's private parts. I've never found one that would.

Started some five or six years ago when my girlfriend indicated that she preferred it shaved. So I did that. She liked it, I don't mind shaving. I shave about every two weeks and I have some scrub to exfoliate the skin and prevent ingrown hairs. It happens rarely that I have ingrown hairs.

I started removing my hair when I was in hs.. but i am going to try waxing instead of trimming and shaving. I’ve heard it’s way smoother and less irritating with waxes.
