To answer the first part of your question, a woman is by definition

"an adult female human. Prior to adulthood, a female human is referred to as a girl".

It is also by definition the opposite of a man. Together, they can form a traditional couple. However, nowadays and with our increasingly screwed up society, you don't have to have a man and a woman to form a couple. They can be 2 men or 2 women.

As for the second part of your question, women are not as hormone driven as men are. Sure, there are a few women that are slaves of their sexual hormones and manipulate their body to induce those spasms. Those women however represent a small percentage compared to men.

women are taught that their place is to not be sexual creatures and to not embrace their sexuality. we are basically taught that our sexual life should not been seen/talked about. Men its openly talked about/hell, even encouraged to a degree.
