  • I'm single at the moment but when I do talk to girls online and if we do start getting into a sexual conversation I can feel their words on the empathic and I can feel everything that they're saying to it and sometimes take a little bit further and blah blah blah and if it gets very sexy and sensual I will have that dream and it's usually a very detailed I mean very detailed those are the best morning wake UPS LOL but no matter what I usually wake up with one and then you come on here and start answering the questions and there you go again it's right back where it was and then you trying to find somebody to share it with LOL online or even on here I guess haven't done that yet

  • No, it happens from some physiological reason that I don't remember exactly. They can get an erection while sleeping from an erotic dream, but when they wake up with morning wood it's usually the other thing

  • All men get erections throughout the night, due entirely to an automatic reflex by the body.

It's basically the body's way of exercising the penis, and keeping things working properly. It will happen several times a night, for roughly 90 minutes at a time. It will get erect, and then go down.

"Morning wood" is simply the result of a guy waking up in the middle of one of those cycles, nothing more. It isn't related to erotic dreams, or any sort of stimulus at all. It's just a timing issue.

If you're interested in knowing more, it's called nocturnal penile tumescence.

  • It has to do with the body’s sleep cycles/patterns, REM phase specifically.

  • When awake, guys can get erections almost any time, for no reason. When asleep, the body will exercise his erection cycle to keep everything in working order. Usually he will not even know about it, unless he awakes during one. If he gets an erotic dream he will often ejaculate and wake up with a mess. Sometimes he will wake up without ejaculating and may take the opportunity to think about the dream and jerk off.

  • It has nothing to do with arousal. It is possible to use the situation and create actual arousal afterwards without losing erection, but morning wood happens all the time, wet dreams almost never. And when I do wake up horny, that is a very, very different experience. Normal wood is just temporary stiffness which persists for a few minutes but I barely even notice it unless I go to the toilet and have to sit down because of it.

  • Rock hard erection, pointing straight up like a flagpole. (or whatever direction you happen to point)

Morning wood or boners happen to every guy.. especially younger ones almost daily. They can be from sexy dreams but they will occur with any dream or for no reason. I get them even after a night of great sex or masturbation. Usually a morning shower or sex/masturbation will help them go away. Have you noticed this on any boyfriends?

  • I always have morning wood, luckily for me I have a beautiful lady who knows exactly what I need every morning, before we go to work

  • It's a biological thing it's not tied to sexuality.

  • No, morning wood is actually caused non-sexually. The technical t3rm is nocturnal erection and most guys get and lose several erections during the course of a good night's sleep and are most likely not even aware of it happening. When a gû wakes up with morning wood it just means he woke up before he lost his nocturnal erection. At that point it can become sexual as it's not always easy to get rid of morning wood without having sex or masturbating. I hope this helps you Sara to understand morning wood.

  • Most guys, do get several hard-ons during the night, either from dreaming about sex, or even bladder pressure (having to pee) give me a hard on. Most, if not all guys do shoot their wad in their pants a few times, by dreaming about fucking someone or getting a blow job/hand job. etc.

Girls have erotic dreams and my girlfriend when 20 something woke up near having an orgasm. Made me feel better about shooting in MY pants. LOL
I'm sure you can orgasm in your sleep or close to it.

  • Just blood flow doing its thing. Erotic dreams don't have anything to do with it.

  • It's just being relaxed in the morning.

  • It doesn't have to be connected to erotic dreams. It can be. It's simply a biological process. A guy can wake up with morning wood and not recall thinking anything sexual.

  • When I was a teen I would have wet dreams with morning wood and after I woke up I would jack off to take away my horniest

  • With me it just happens.

  • Nope it's just blood flow doing it's thing.

  • Yeah... you just wake up with a hard cock. Sometimes it's because you're horny. Sometimes it's because you really need to pee.

  • It's because we have pee..
And to stop pee a little pressure builds up in base muscles of penis.. That pressure. Makes it a little hard and the area sensitive...

Now that sensitivity with hormones and recharged body make us want to play With it..

    I remember in teenage years..

If I woke up with a little hard on..
And the motion of pulling it out and adjusting it to pee was enough to make. It twice as hard as before..
And by the time I am done peeing..
The act of peeing through it also stimulated our penis.. Because we are peeing through our penis..
It's ready and hard on to be played with..
    😂🤣😂🤣

  • Sometimes. Usually you just wake up, have a boner, and it quickly fades away because you were dreaming about being a monkey and finding a lot of ripe bananas or something not a pussy in your face.

  • When a guy enters REM sleep (dreaming), their parasympathetic nervous system stimulates the sacral nerve, so it causes automatic erections while not aroused.
It's kinda like a bodily glitch.

This happens even if the dream has nothing sexual in it, it could be any dream, a good one, or even a night terror level bad one.
