If it were anywhere else on the body, it would look very strange. It also isn’t as hard to avoid cross contamination as it seems. Infections happen but they’re not a common occurrence for most women. But if the parts were shifted around, it would make it very difficult to line up the parts for sex. Right now, you can just both be standing up and bend her over and start having sex. A lot of positions would be off the table if it were placed anywhere else.
