I've never walked in on that, but I figured out pretty quick during my first year of college that if things seem like they are about to get hot and heavy, or they just finished being hot and heavy, you go take a walked around the block or head to a friend's house.

Yeah, this happened a few times with me and my roommate in college. We both didn’t mind being present if either of us was having sex.

That happened in college. As I was leaving, my roommate's date jumped out of bed and begged me to join in. It turned out I was his biggest crush. I said no, of course, and banned him from ever returning to our room.

once in awhile you can ask for the place to yourself for sex and vice-versa but for the most part the non-sex roommate should have the right-of-way
