Okay, hear me out first. Adoption can be a good option for everyone, including the ace community who see sex as unnecessary chore (I feel the same about children lol).

However, in this question you're asked if an ace man just wants to get over his part, that is sleeping with his girlfriend even though he doesn't necessarily enjoy sex — just to put a baby in her. Now if the woman is asexual herself, it'd be still tedious job. If not, she might feel pressured as her partner doesn't do it as much as others. That's my take.

This is TOO confusing.

You've muddied this question. If the question is about wanting children, that's ONE question. However, an asexual man can impregnate a woman by IVF and not have sex with her AT ALL. A doctor can deposit the sperm. So there's THAT.

If the partnership is between an asexual man and a woman who wants regular sex, this relationship is doomed.

People need to be CLOSE in sexual desire. Not EVEN STEPHEN, but close enough so no one feels cheated.

ANYONE can want children. That has nothing to do with sexuality. Some people value having a family because they grew up in a fine family or they want to create a great family. There are a dozen reasons why.

Some people just love the idea of raising children and giving them a positive lease on life. Watching them fledge and go out into the world. Also has little to do with their sexual desire for a significant other.

However, it's important for children to grow up in a family where positive sexual values are expressed: lots of hugs and kisses among family members, loving looks and glances and touches between their parents.

The problem with A-sexuality is it means LACK OF. Children need 360 degrees of life growing up. Not gaps. Good balance of all aspects of life, love, sex, education, socialization, work.

Sex purpose is to create a baby, not pleasure. Pleasure was an afterthought to make us indulge on the act more to create more babies.
Therefore creating a baby even without such pleasure don't matter and what it would be like anyway if humans didn't develop the senses of enjoyment from it.

Also anyway quite a lot of Asexual's still have sex and would do this if they wanted a kid. And ones so opposed to sex but want a kid would go the medical or adoption way.

So why would it be bad for Asexual to have a kid? it wouldn't.

Hold on!! I am Asexual. And I only enjoy sex with my lady. And yes I find kids disgusting, tedious, and annoying.


Not all asexuals think of sex as a chore. 65% of us believe there must be a connection. We don’t just go out and just sleep with some one.


With my lady it was the mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical connection. And she get me more than any.

The kid isn't the one dating, and who is too say what kind of personality-sexual preference of partner orientation and relationship dynamic will end up being the best fit for the kid and parent? In the 80s there was a family comedy show called"My Two Dad's" about a young teenage girl who's dying mother wanted desperately for her daughter too grow up with two parents in her life, so she told her daughter that these two special men from her past were very close too her heart, and one of them was her biological father, but wouldn't tell her which one. The girl didn't have a way to confirm parental bloodlines without a blood test, and swore her daughter too secrecy that she must never participate in a paternity test, because both men were well suited too give her something she needed very badly, but neither were up to fathering a daughter by himself. One was an artist, the other, a lawyer. One responsible financially, the other creative and whimsical. Together, they were the perfect dad, if they could stop arguing about what was best for thier teenage daughter. Maybe this unconventional relationship dynamic you are asking about is just what some special kid needs in thier unconventional life🙄. 🎭 Maybe unconventional works sometimes 🤗.
