Can some people fake bisexuality?

As in do it for attention/validation?

Superb Opinion

  • Of course people can fake it if they want. But be careful to throw that kind of judgment around. Bisexuality is very common in all genders. There are a lot of bisexual people out there, and I believe I’ve never met one who was faking it for attention.

    • How do real bisexual people behave with their attractions? Can you explain please? 😁

  • Millennial women do it all the time in order to get a guy’s attention. They think every guy finds two women kissing sexy but too bad for them that’s not always true.

If I’m interested in a woman who I know is also interested in me and she suddenly starts passionately making out with her best female friend, I won’t be interested in her anymore.

    • I agree bisexuality is very real and doing that is not attractive at all.

Most Helpful Girls

  • I wondered that myself. I guess they think guys love bisexual girls. All that says is those guys are not monogamous.

    • Like is it possible that some people pretend to be bisexual to fit into the LGBTQ+ community when in reality they do it for attention and validation? Like for example, not dating the same gender but continuing to date the opposite gender?

    • I think a lot do that, yes, but only because guys seem to like them - it's is probably the threesome mentality.

    • It’s actually really annoying for bisexuals like me who really want to date the same gender and other genders. I hate being fetishized and if my partner did happen to be the opposite gender, then I would make sure that he accepts me for who I am, takes my sexuality seriously, doesn’t ask for threesomes and doesn’t fetishize me period.

  • People will fake cancer for the attention. So I'm sure for bisexuality it'll happen.

    • What do they do and why do they do it? Please elaborate! 😊

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Women maybe, since they seem to be able to be more sexually fluid. But not a guy. Unless that is all he is doing is "faking" it. But no way a straight guy is having any kind of sex with another guy. Never.

    • Yeah, that’s true I guess. A guy is usually seen as gay if he comes out as bisexual. 🤦🏽‍♀️

  • I think it would be easier for a women to fake it but for a guy to fake it would be a hard call.

    • I strongly agree with that. How do people act when they fake their bisexuality?

    • I've not knowingly seen anyone fake their bisexuality so I don't really know for sure, but for a girl she'd just need to act it. For a guy you can't fake an erection if you are turned off. So for a guy to get an erection with another guy he'd have to at least be attracted to him.

    • For a girl, would kissing alone indicate that she is bisexual? Because I think that’s there’s more to it than just kissing girls in front of guys.

  • Very hard for men. Women can engage in intimacy with others. Comes from maternal instinct.

    • When it comes to dating the same gender, why do they seem to run away from that idea though?

  • I dated an girl that was bi. And no, people cannot hide that shit lol

    • People cannot hide what shit? What did she do?

    • She made out with a girl right in front of me

    • Oh… Damn…

  • I have NOT a clue, nor do I care to find out.

  • People can fake all sort of things.

    • Do you think that people can fake bisexuality? If so, how do they usually fake it?

    • Just as a wild guess, usually just by claiming. But if you are saying "in the act" probably by not thinking you are even there.

  • I'm sure they can

    • How do you think they fake it? Like what exactly do they do?

  • Yeah, What a bunch of fags

  • by flirting with the same gender possibly even kissing maybe? but that would be the extreme end of it kissing. but definitely flirting and pretending to show interest when they're clearly not is the best way to describe faking bisexuality. also hand holding which may feel weird to the person but it depends on what lengths they want to go to so they can fake it

    • So you mean they fake by just kissing the same gender? When it comes to dating the same gender, why do they seem to run away from that idea?

    • because they might not be attracted to the same gender

    • In my honest opinion, if they would run away from dating the same gender whilst also fooling around, then I don’t really think that they’re truly bisexual.

  • I would only fall in love with a girl but like bisex only for sex reasons. Either you like both cock and pussy or you don't. But I seem to like pussy more :)

    • But do you ever see yourself falling in love with a similar gender to you.

    • No I think love and sex are 2 different things. Maybe if i was having sex with another guy every day I might have feelings though. But I'm attracted to cute girls and love pussy.

    • There’s nothing wrong with being in a relationship with a guy either. 😊

  • Sure, ever heard of the term lipstick lesbian?

    • Yes I have. What about it though?

    • They are fake lesbians.

    • No. Feminine lesbians actually exist.

  • Some people can fake it, if their community made them so. If such peron lives in a community where most people are homosexual/bisexual, he or she may adjust to this and become such, just because he or she doesn't want to outstand.

    • Can you please elaborate on how they usually fake it?

    • I mean you're not really homosexual/bisexual (you're not born with it), you only think you are, because many of your friends are homo/bi and you want not to differ. People adjust to different roles, if you made a very nice and kind person a prison officer, he would become very strict and adamant, because he subconsciously wants to fit in the role.

    • But for real bisexuals/homosexuals it’s not a choice. You don’t choose who you’re attracted to. But I agree with you there!
