Personally I don't think it's bad. But anything you know you have to keep secret is usually wrong. So if he knows about it then it's ok, but if you tell him and he asks you not to then you know it's wrong. Secrets in a relationship are never good, I'm very experienced it that.

That is cheating. If you are going to continue sexting, you should tell your guy that You are not ready to be exclusive yet. That way it would not be cheating, and you would not have to explain it. Are you just texting back and forth, or are pictures involved?
