Yeah it's the same for me, when I'm doing it with a partner I just want to please them so I'd rather not use condoms, so I'd take pills instead. If you trust your partner STDs shouldn't be a problem.
I'm a forgiving and understanding person, but the one thing I absolutely will not tolerate is cheating. Aside from the fact that once that trust is broken there's always going to be doubt weighing on the relationship, it can also put you at risk for STDs.
100%. I tend to fall for shy guys so my partners tend not to cheat haha
Rofl! That's quite an interesting strategy! I've dated a few women that have cheated, but I wasn't involved enough with them that we were having sex.
Damn, did you parents force you to do it or something? I don't see how you'd get them if you know you're not sexually active
@pickedcrisps Non dominant arm for first 3. Dominant arm for this present one and next two.
Wow why you gotta keep changing arms? Forever swapping or nah. Lol. Do you bother with condoms as back up or nope.
Makes sense. 🙏
No. It was my own decision as I never want kids. I was only interested in getting to a good uni.
Do you have to get surgery to put it in?
@Jessica405 I know those feels about never wanting kids. Do you assume a fair chunk of women choose those implants for that long term view or just nah?
By the way, it is put in under a local aneasthetic. No worse than a Covid jab, or any other jab. Worst time is when you change arms. Get a jab in both!
@pickedcrisps It is a case of fit and forget for 3 years. No condoms. No faffing with pills. No risky pull out. That misses the best bit!
There is something else. As a side effect, I have not had a period for 7 years. Just one of those things that happens so some girls.
But don't you fear STDs? Personally I'd still do a combo personally for my comfort level of condom for me implant or BC for her. Same time. 😁 What a double dippers smarty pants I am
@pickedcrisps I think, as long as you stick to one partner (that you trust) it should be fine
Haha trust isn't the problem for me @MoodyJazz. Personally i could never even be in any relationship with any woman who didn't share my passion and zest for condoms. You know. I'm a germ guy what can I say and risk adverse. So you know. For me overcautious is how I role. And how I'm still single. But I'm glad because while I may miss out on many women, I'll never have to dread that day of getting a positive test result of X Y Z etc type of an STD or even worse. Scary 🤪🤪😮😮 just saying 😁 but that's me. The happy freak I am. Cya 😅😅
@pickedcrisps I trust my one partner, who I know has only one other relationship before me. Like me, he was just wanting to get the best out of our years at uni. So I have no worries about STD's.
Oh no Jessica I simply mean the pure realities of human nature that even two monogamous couples can get an STD or STI at some point in the relationship even exclusive. Hence I'm a germaphobe. Condoms are my religion. Cya😊😊
I've always been too scared of putting stuff up my vagina lol, does it ever hurt? Isn't there a risk of infection?
Wouldn't an implant in the arm be better? Those last 3 years in the arm? 🤪
@MoodyJazzNope, doesn't hurt at all. Size of a hair tie, made of rubber-like material and flexible. I kind of scrunch it up and put it in.No, there are no risks beyond any bc. I just like it as I don't have to remember the pill. Only downside is they typically come in pack of 3. Has to be refrigerated until use. If you consider that a downside.
@pickedcrispsYep, longer lasting. I just find this easy and convenient. Works well for me.
How long have you been using them? Ever had any issues? I may switch from the Depo shot
@GenaBaby1995 I have been using it for almost 2 years now. Very happy with it!I see from your profile, you are located in the US. After some checking, the brand most common there is NuvaRing.
Thank you for MHG

What's the 'bag mathod'?
I don’t wear my paper bag
Yea, gotta play it safe lolI use the pill mainly cuz I'm allergic to latex and it's cheaper if you fuck a lot... condoms are expensive!
Understood about the latex. It's an expense I could tolerate. I suppose women get Implanon because it's cheaper than the pill and lasts years? 😃
I don't mind I should've said paying for my condoms if I was active. It's an expense that's easy.
That's gonna get you pregnant you know why right
Lol I don’t want to do contraceptive pills
They’re actually gud if you have irregular periods or anemia (I have both!)
I used to have irregular periods so I went on birth control pills for 2 years. It was really hard on my body in particular. I never want to try them again
What was wrong?
My moods were very off, I gained a lot of weight and I felt very weak a lot of the time. It did help regulate my period by the end of it but 🤷🏻♀️
@Kelly6 thank you!
I’m 4 months pregnant too
@Kelly6 congratulations to you to!
ThanksHave you also started producing milk?
@Kelly6 nah that doesn't happen for me until I have my babies
Any problems afterwards? like pain or needing more procedures because the sperm builds up from no exit point?
No issues at all
hmmm. how long ago did you have it?
hyperlink to other question was unintentional by the way, gag automatically did it.
Sorry if this question is too personal, but do you have daily sex? like if the sperm has to reabsorb into the body, does it require downtime? or can you hump like 4 times a day and still no discomfort/pain from buildup?
Thrre is absolute. y no difference in sexual performace before and after just takes the pregnancy risk away so it can actually make you hornier.
Anything else I should know?
Ooh so you have multiple partners?
Any complications/problems afterwards?
@TheSpaceGnome No, not for me. But a friend got an infection, and his balls were a huge, purple mess. If you follow the doctors instructions for keeping things clean down there, you shouldn't have any problems, and the stitches dissolve after a week or so. The procedure itself really hurt, but that was over 30 years ago, so things are probably more refined now.
I see, I'm more worried about long term problems, I'm a pretty clean person, I don't leave the house much, and I'm not sexually active, howed he get the infection? is it something that just happens? or did he do something stupid like hump someone before it healed? badically what should be avoided?
@TheSpaceGnome Not sure. Just speak to the doc and follow their advice.
Doesn't it cause problems and pain from sperm building up do to not exit point?
@TheSpaceGnome No, you might be thinking of semen in general. Sperm is only a microscopic part of the load and it does get absorbed back into the body. There is still a load of semen every time and it looks exactly the same as before I had the vasectomy.
Heh, thats a good point, So what causes the horror story complications I read about in forums?
@TheSpaceGnome Lies from the condom lobbyists posing as GaG members.
It wasn't on gag, it was on other sites, but I'm familiar with lobbying slander either way.
@TheSpaceGnome Ahhhh yes. I’ve seen those. I’ve never actually met a person who has had those complications but you see them everywhere online on random forums.
