  • I'm not with anyone now, but historically I've been with women that used pills or alreayd had their tubes tied. I have used condoms before, but I can't get off with a condom on. That's part of the reason I only have sex in committed, monogamous relationships.

    • Yeah it's the same for me, when I'm doing it with a partner I just want to please them so I'd rather not use condoms, so I'd take pills instead. If you trust your partner STDs shouldn't be a problem.

    • I'm a forgiving and understanding person, but the one thing I absolutely will not tolerate is cheating. Aside from the fact that once that trust is broken there's always going to be doubt weighing on the relationship, it can also put you at risk for STDs.

    • 100%. I tend to fall for shy guys so my partners tend not to cheat haha

  • So far, I've fucked a girl that had a diaphragm but, whether she had it in her when I was fucking her is another story. A girl that had an IUD and I actually felt it inside of her with my finger and a girl that used nothing at all. So far, I've never used anything.

  • Other. I have been using implants since I was 17. It was "just in case" preventative measure. I didn't actually make use of them until 22.

    • Arm?

    • Damn, did you parents force you to do it or something? I don't see how you'd get them if you know you're not sexually active

    • @pickedcrisps Non dominant arm for first 3. Dominant arm for this present one and next two.

  • I use the ring. It is a rubber flexible ring that is inserted vaginally. Used for one month and replaced.

    • I've always been too scared of putting stuff up my vagina lol, does it ever hurt? Isn't there a risk of infection?

    • Wouldn't an implant in the arm be better? Those last 3 years in the arm? 🤪

    • @moodyjazz Nope, doesn't hurt at all. Size of a hair tie, made of rubber-like material and flexible. I kind of scrunch it up and put it in. No, there are no risks beyond any bc. I just like it as I don't have to remember the pill. Only downside is they typically come in pack of 3. Has to be refrigerated until use. If you consider that a downside.

  • Gotta cover it up.

What form of contraception do you use?
  • Nexplanon arm thing.

    • Ahh sounds painful

    • Those are so neat lady. The only thing i wonder. How do you never panic if you hurt your arm or move your arm or somehow dislodge it because I would be paranoid all the time if I got any implant as a woman like that but I'm paranoid I guess hahaha

    • @pickedcrisps @ MoodyJazz - not painful at all. Doesn't hurt to put in/remove/move at all. Very uncommon for it to migrate once it's in there.

  • Condoms. I don't want to mess with my hormones or have something inserted up painfully.
    Also, it protects from disseases.

  • Vasectomy, most reliable form short of not engaging in vaginal intercourse.

  • Girlfriend uses birth control pills.

Best method previously has been the Bag Method.

    • What's the 'bag mathod'?

    • I don’t wear my paper bag

What form of contraception do you use?

  • Wedding cake.

I used to use both the pill and have my partner wear a condom. My husband has since had the snip so they are not needed anymore.

  • Usually pull out if we are trying to prevent pregnancy. As of right now I'm 35 weeks pregnant so obviously no need to prevent anything

    • Congrats

    • @Kelly6 thank you!

    • I’m 4 months pregnant too

  • Right now, abstinence lol.

  • I'm not sexually active but I have a regular menstrual cycle. I'm just going to calculate and hope for the best lmao.

    • That's gonna get you pregnant you know why right

    • Lol I don’t want to do contraceptive pills

    • They’re actually gud if you have irregular periods or anemia (I have both!)

  • I use magnum condoms

  • Condoms

  • Depo every 3 months, condom for my guy friends

    • Ooh so you have multiple partners?

  • I'm not sexually active which I voted for too, but if I was, she'd be on the pill or similar, and I'd always wear a condom, always. That combo 🤪

    • Yea, gotta play it safe lol I use the pill mainly cuz I'm allergic to latex and it's cheaper if you fuck a lot... condoms are expensive!

    • Understood about the latex. It's an expense I could tolerate. I suppose women get Implanon because it's cheaper than the pill and lasts years? 😃

    • I don't mind I should've said paying for my condoms if I was active. It's an expense that's easy.

  • Abstinence, thought about vasectomy but the complications make it seem too dangerous.

  • condoms. cause that's all there is for men.

  • I don't have sex

  • My personality

  • Abstinence. It's the only form of contraception that's proven to be 100% effective.

  • Right now my friend with benefits is on the pill but she is thinking about getting a shot where she can't get pregnant for a year with out taking a pill.

  • I always wore a condom. But, I haven't been sexually active in nearly a decade.
