If I deliberately dont “go forth and multiply” am I insulting the lord and will thus burn for all eternity?

I look between my legs and see a handsome set of dick and balls swingling idly when they should be slamming the snacharooni of a loving wife to create babies. I have decided not to have children or even sex for that matter but does this insult the lord who equipped me with reproductive tools 🍆

  • We've all "sinned and fallen short of the grace of God". The important thing is who do you trust in to pay for your sins. If you trust in the sinless Son of God, Jesus only, you're going to heaven. If you put your faith in your own good works, a priest, a church, or anything or anyone else, you'd better start shopping for fire insurance.

You bring up an interesting subject: What is considered sin? No one at my church is forcing women to wear a hat even though the bible says women should have their head covered when they pray. You mention the one about being fruitful and multiplying. I read a book once that said it's only a sin if it violates the "fruit of the spirit". I don't remember what that means so I guess I should read that one again.

  • I've heard that the idea to marriage is in part to procreate and that's one of it's top purposes. doesn't the bible also say it's mean for weak people who basically can stay happy being devoted to just Him? Man i dont even know anymore. Do you think God wants your life to be misery? Do you think He wants you bringing in kids that you aren't mentally prepared for? Obviously i'm not endorsing abortion but I'm saying hey if you have no desire for kids then whats the issue? But if your partner does no matter if it's the husband or wife that wants them you as the spouse are obligated to give them those children and raise them right. But if neither care or dont want kids, SO WHAT?

I’m sure you’ll be fine. We weren’t put on this earth purely for the sake of breeding. If kids aren’t something you want that’s your personal choice and none of anyone’s business. Kids aren’t something I see myself wanting anytime soon 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • if you’re not 100% about having and taking care of kids, don’t have em. there’s plenty of people making already. plus i don’t think guilting yourself for religious reasons is the way ‘he’ would want anyway.

  • No you will be fine. There are lots of guys that hit it and quit it and that's really bad. I say only make a baby if you really, really want one. If you don't want one, you are actually doing a good thing by not making one.

  • The world was pretty empty back then, it's overcrowded now so I think it's ok to stop churning out loads of kids

    • @apple1996 That was not a requirement.

  • You should read the context in Genesis.

  • The guy in the drawing looks pissed and I wouldn't want to fuck with him. I wouldn't want to worship him either

  • Jesus didn't go forth and multiply (as far as we know) so probably not.

  • No, but you are missing out on the good stuff it was designed for.

  • it's ok. too many people on this earth anyway.
