I respect your choice! I still think circ looks better and is cleaner though. It's much easier to do as a baby so I think its easier to do then
As an adult, the foreskin can always be pulled back...

It's not even painful and also, what if it's his choice?
@Aiko_E_Lara "His choice?" So an infant can make choices now? And why do they scream if it isn't painful? You seriously lack intelligence.
What i even talking about an infant? You said male children so why does it only mean infant?
You know that in most of the developed world circumcision is very VERY rare right? Aside from the US and a few religious, no one else does it.
What reasons made you decide for it?
@Tellme It's simply healthier and easier to keep clean.
"minimal" www.mayoclinic.org/.../pac-20393550 What if it's your son's choice? You still think it's bad?
"The risks of not being circumcised, however, are not only rare, but avoidable with proper care of the penis." Then he can make that choice for himself when he is old enough. It's not up to me.
Do you realize it's actually harder to circumcised as a grown up and those risk gets higher? It also takes longer to heal if you do it as an adult, and you're gonna be missing a lot of work time. So yea you just ruined his one chance of getting what he always wanted as a kid. Even if you say it's unnecessary, the plus still stands. The risk of it is not even a permanent but the benefit is.
I literally don't care. Kinda weird that you are for genital mutilation and lowered sexual pleasure. But whatever.
Because you think it is "mutation" that's why. Then ok if you don't care you're a terrible mom then go ahead.
It's literally the definition of mutilation*
"inflict a violent and disfiguring injury on." Ok where's the violent part? Don't tell me even if it's an emergency, you won't get your son a surgery because it's "violent" As far as i read about the articles saying it's mutilation, it's talking about infants which i understand but am I even talking about infants here?
Oh yeah this reminds me of a mentality of anti vaxxers actually.
Circumcision is generally done on infants. Like you said the older they are the harder it is. This is true even in a 4-10 year olds (heck more traumatic at this age). So yeah we are talking about it being done In infants because that is the most common time it is done. ": an act or instance of destroying, removing, or severely damaging a limb or other body part of a person or animal"
Also of course if it was an emergency I would get it done. But in any other circumstance it's cosmetic surgery on a baby. It's stupid.
That's an assumption to say it's done by infants. When circumcision by itself is just circumcision and nothing to do with infants unless you choose to involve it. And for the record, that's not even cosmetic surgery because dicks are not something you see everyday and cosmetics doesn't do much for health but for appearance which isn't the case of circumcision. And if you wanna say they get trauma for that, you're talking about the exceptions. Maybe you're talking about those who were forced to be circumcised and not by choice. ": an act or instance of destroying, removing, or severely damaging a limb or other body part of a person or animal" <-- you're talking about mutilation here."Circumcision is the surgical removal of foreskin from a baby's penis. There are several benefits to circumcision, including a lower risk of diseases like urinary tract infections. Older boys and men get circumcised as well. At any age, the circumcised penis usually heals within a week" <-- I searched the meaning of circumcision and there's nothing in there talking about ": an act or instance of destroying, removing, or severely damaging a limb or other body part of a person or animal" It would've been severe if it's an infant you're talking about but still im not talking about infants here.
Yeah I know I was talking about mutilation. That is the definition of mutilation. What is circumcision? The removal of part of the body, no? Honestly stop, you're not going to change my mind. If you want to cut your son's dick by all means. But I won't.
It’s a society fashion that’s it, nothing else. You rarely find it outside of the US in western countries.Things like showers, knowing how to wash ourselves, really removed the need to physically abuse a child.Fully understandable in countries that have poor hygiene standards and basic stuff is not taught.Anyhow it’s a free world, and it’s not like it’s 2021 and people are still doing 6th century stuff.
Yes you're talking about mutilation and but you're not talking about circumcision. If you ask me what circumcision is, it is circumcision. Simple as that. It's something unique and not even considered as anything else. Just like how you like to over exaggerate it, you're talking about cutting a penis off you're not talking about cutting a foreskin off. You just like to make strawman arguments about it. I don't care if you don't change your mind. I don't change my mind on people like you either so?
@Aiko_E_Lara it’s multinationals end of.It’s a Fashion attribute done to a child.Even if it was not mutilation, it is still simply a Fashion thing, Son you are getting this done because it’s pretty 🤦
If that's your view point then why are you trying to change my mind? 😂 Bit stupid don't you think 🤔
@ChrisMaster69 Then it's not mutilation end of. Really easy for you to say.If it really is a fashion, do you even see dicks everyday? Do they even show it off and get compliments if it really is a fashion? Is it even in a fashion show? But even if it's a fashion, it's no different if a girl say she wants to have a piercing then so they have to "mutilate her ears" for fashion with out even any real benefits like circumcision have.
@Smashingdoozy i'm not trying to change your mind but i'm just saying. But if you accuse me of doing it, then i can also say you're trying to change people's minds who really supports circumcision
I stated my opinion. You used a mayo clinic article to try to discredit what I said, even though the same article reiterates what I said.I agreed that if a person wants to make that choice when he's old enough then he can.Not sure what I'm trying to convince anyone of other than this is my opinion on the matter. Like i said cut your kids dick if you want. I don't care, but I won't do it to my own.
I stated my opinion and an article to back it up whether you like it or not. Whether you take it or not. Like what I said, be a terrible mom i don't care.
I also agreed if the child don't wanna be circumcised, i would respect that one. So?
Again that same article reiterates what I said.
Oh ok if it repeats what you said, how come you're not talking about it's benefits then? Because you don't agree? Well then that didn't really reiterate what you said.
Because it explains it all in the very article you sent...Easier hygiene. Circumcision makes it simpler to wash the penis. **However, boys with uncircumcised penises can be taught to wash regularly beneath the foreskin.**Decreased risk of urinary tract infections. **The risk of urinary tract infections in males is low**, but these infections are more common in uncircumcised males. Severe infections early in life can lead to kidney problems later.Decreased risk of sexually transmitted infections. Circumcised men **might** have a lower risk of certain sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. **Still, safe sexual practices remain essential.**Prevention of penile problems. **Occasionally**, the foreskin on an uncircumcised penis can be difficult or impossible to retract (phimosis). This can lead to inflammation of the foreskin or head of the penis.Decreased risk of penile cancer. Although **cancer of the penis is rare** it's less common in circumcised men. In addition, cervical cancer is less common in the female sexual partners of circumcised men
What still stands is the benefits mentioned in there despite how low you think the odds are of getting any of those cancer or whatever, So yeah you only looked for something to agreed in there. So yeah it's only something you cherry picked which you agreed it which isn't everything the article said which you say it repeated. Also even if they are rare, they're still serious illnesses to be considered "minimal" Also, the article is only talking about health but not even talking about how good it feels being able to clean it so easily which is what your son may also like.
I never said the benefits weren't there. They just aren't that substantial. Anyways I'm done with this conversation or whatever you want to call it. Again you get you do you and I'll do me ☺️ ciao
So that just contradicts what you said about how the article just repeated what you said. So yeah you're not really repeating, you're just cherry picking. Also I did mention about ear piercing which you completely ignored.
Me: the benefits of it are minimal and nothing that can't be taught easilyArticle you posted: the risks of not being circumcised, however, are not only rare, but avoidable with proper care of the penis.Do you understand now or do I need to spell it out more clearly? Ear piercings. I believe should only happen when a person asks for them or gets them on their own Accord. It's about consent.
Do what you feel is best mama! :)
yeah as im not religious or anything but my partnar is leaning towards geting it done but i am unsure
How are you feeling about it now?
