Superb Opinion

  • Men typically talk about topics of interest between themselves in much the same way that women are prone to do.

But we DO sometimes differ widely in the level of significance that we assign to events.

If a woman objects to this I would hazard a guess that she’s assigning a level of significance to the sexual activity/‘relationship’ that the man simply isn’t. ‘Over-romanticizing’ it, to coin a phrase.

She may want to consider moving on if this truly bothers her. Her friends with benefits clearly regards the sex as something far less emotionally significant.

IOW, ‘it’s just sex’, not some sort of emotion-fraught cosmic intertwining of soulmates.

  • I never discussed sex life with any men, apart from psychological effects of bondage on noobs once. And one guy bragging that he saw a girl we all knew naked. Otherwise sex is a complete non-topic in conversations. Women bring it up all the time. So I know a lot about the practical problems women face. Like where to wipe a sticky hand on a trip with no running water and no tissue paper within easy reach and lot's of curious people all around :-D
But even those women don't know much about my exe's performance in bed.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Never in detail, but I have discussed a few details with my older brother on occasion

  • I guess some guys do that... but most of them just like to brag. I never discussed the exact details of my sex life except to say that I was getting laid a lot. I would always want an ok from a girlfriend before I discussed the details with any of my guy friends. Do girls talk about their sex lives?

  • Because he doesn't respect you... Hello...
You are a piece of ass to him.

  • Your friends with benefits has no respect for you... you are just a piece and he wanted to be macho in front of his friends.
Sooo, do you continue to be his play-toy, or do you dump his sorry ass and find a guy that will respect you and keep your sex a secret, like most real men do.

  • Not really, we certainly don't go into any kind of details about it. Just maybe say something like, *I'm doing this girl at the moment", and the friend says "oh nice" and that's about it. Most guys are pretty private about the actual details of the sex itself.

    • In fact if I'm honest I probably talk to my female friends more about the details, only because they seem more interested in it than the guys and ask more questions.

  • Because he's an indiscreet braggart?
Yes, men talk. So do women.

  • Some do and some don't. For the guys that do, it's always the same reason, pride and vanity.

  • I don't' and never have. That is a juvenile, high school idiot trait. Had a boyfriend friend ask me if my girlfriend moaned when we were fucking ! ? Christ ! What an idiot question.

You have to remember, most men 'suck' when it comes to being discreet or even gentlemanly

  • People that have friends with benefits/hook ups are the kind of people that go around telling others. You can't realistically expect people to respect you if you behave that way.

  • Sometimes. With girls that are really special i think guys stay more quiet.

  • When their young, yes they do. They do it to brag, boost their ego and prove their not gay

Older men don't give a shit what people think and keep thier mouth shut

  • No, real men do not kiss and tell.

  • Naw not really.

  • If I'm seriously dating her No, but if were on a thing I gotta let the fellas know how she getting down fym

  • Some do they like to brag

  • Some guys like to brag about it, but it really shows a lack of class.

  • Nobody I roll with kisses and tells.

  • A gentleman will never say anything.

  • Personally no i've never really done this

  • Sometimes they do
