I mean, I'm not a fan of the short hair, but that's not especially difficult to change - they could just grow it out. But otherwise, there's nothing about the way they look that would make me find them unattractive. Cultural differences would likely be the biggest obstacle, but, say if she was a 2nd-generation American (born and grew up here), then the cultural issues would be a lot less severe.
