Is it ok to stop kids dressing up as red Indians so they don't grow up to be Qanon Shaman?

I was looking at this book cover and a few things popped in my mind. What exactly is he doing on top of that girl? and did he grow up to be the Qanon shaman?

Sounds stupid? Well how come people who complain about gay pride marches or people "identifying" as other genders have no problems with a guy identifying as a shaman and running around half naked?

I know people will say child's play doesn't affect how they turn out but the same people will kick off about gender neutral toys in case their daughter turns into a lesbian feminist after playing with a dumper truck.
Is it ok to stop kids dressing up as red Indians so they dont grow up to be Qanon Shaman?

Superb Opinion

  • I don't know what "buffalo boy's" trip is. I don't know anything about him other than being a self promoting poser.

But I'll answer your question seriously.
I don't think "playing" is the same as "identifying". This thing of "identifying" is a very recent result of the radical attempt to normalize multi-genderism. Fuck that.

On the other hand, people play/enact all the time. It's normal and healthy. It can also be educational.

I don't see why it's a problem for children to wear "red Indian" costume attire as long as it is done respectfully. Indigenous people of the Americas are admirable in their spirituality, respect for nature, and lifestyles. Many non-indigenous people have adopted aspects of that culture into their everyday lives. Yay!
Even paying homage to their fierceness in battle is a sign of respect.

When I was small, I was in the Indian Guides for a year. A genuine Native American man dressed in authentic attire, initiated me, asked me to pick an Indian name (the first name I thought of was Red Eagle. LOL), and presented me with a genuine eagle feather. I felt very honored at that young age.

About 15 years ago, as Board Chairman of a local environmental nonprofit, I began working with a local tribe called the Tsi-Akim Maidu to help them regain federal recognition and also to put on events. Over a few years, the tribe, which had been almost completely wiped out during the California gold rush, raised awareness and went from facing discrimination and living on the periphery to being honored members of the community.
About ten years ago, at one large, outdoor gathering of tribes from across the country, the tribal chair honored me as a tribal elder and invited me to dine with the rest of the tribal elders.

I've also been making donations of money and clothing for years to help Native American on Sioux reservations in the southwest.

So I have great respect for Native Americans. I think it's great to promote their cultures and to raise awareness of their history, as well as their current plight.

  • A few things 1 identifying as a different race or ethnicity is inherently wrong due to the fact that if you are not properly informed about that culture or history you cannot appreciate or even live properly. A white guy can act black but he'll never be called the n word out of malice or discriminated against. A born man who identifies as a woman can learn and will then be treated as a woman. I don't think you can identify as a "shaman" you can adopt that style and clothing but you aren't that nothing you do will make you that. A woman who doesn't feel comfortable in her body and believes genetically she should've been male can do something

  • Objection! Slipper slope and appeal to ignorance. No one has provided a DNA sample before asserting that this man is not a shaman with shamanistic Z chromosomes.

  • I think it is ridiculous. My Alma Mater 's sports teams were the Chieftains. Ilimnt was changed a few years ago to the Jayhawks because the woke mob thought it was insulting to Native Americans. Actually the name Chieftains reflected the College's Irish tradition much like Notre Dame. The college administrators caved anyway. I am not as proud to be an Alumni. The whole thing is BS,

  • prob.

  • 😂😂😂😂

  • Can someone please make all this political correctness stop. I for one have more than gad enough of this nonsense

  • This is what happens when kids are heavily medicated

  • Nobody plays Cowboys and Indians as kids anymore
