Ever lived somewhere that wasn't very private and people could see in all the time and you didn't really care?

After my lesbian experience with my roommates at college.

Do you believe artificial lesbian/bi is a real thing? My first real sexual experience, My third confession?

I was back on track to showing it all off after a long break, It was rather easy though to show it off.

Our apartment was in a old brick building heated by radiant heat. When it got cold in the winter and they turned that on, it was like 90+ in there all the time. The only way to cool it was to open windows, which meant having blinds open or else they wouldn't work very good.

This meant the people in the building next to us, could see in really well. These buildings were very close together. I could look over there and know exactly who certain people were from classes.

They had radiant heat too, cause a lot of them would wander around in their underwear and I could see them.

I started to feel very comfortable around my roommates, and enjoyed smiling and waving at the guys in the other building who just stared.

I was the big show off in the group, the others were quite self conscience of their bodies.

Sure I couldn't touch a man, but I could show it off. I helped them and encouraged the others to try it out. Before long we could all be standing there showing off our stuff to the neighboring building. I managed to help others become show off's too.

I have never lived in a building like this since, never had radiant heat again. Personally I'm glad, that was just too hot... come home and must strip immediately, try doing anything when your ready to pass out from heat, let alone any school work.

It really sucked being 20 outside and 90 inside.

Anyone else ever lived in a building like this or show it off like this somewhere?

I enjoyed showing off very much, this was a unique experience that happened daily for months for the winter.

What would you have done if you were in this kind of situation, just keep them closed and roast. When they were closed it got over a 100 in there.

  • Aerissa this is really interesting to read. My guess is that any inhibitions about exposing your body get really minimized when you're feeling that hot. And from your story that wasn't just true for you. It sounds like lots of people were stripping down to deal with the heat. It was an adaptive response.

    • Adaptive but I would of done it anyways, since I like to show it off. That just made it easier to get others to join in.

  • Although I've only lived in a building with radiant heat once, I am nude at home most of the time. Understanding that windows are really reflective more than transparent when its darker inside, we typically are nude even with the blinds open during the day. We do close them at night, but we also have windows that are higher up that we leave open. Technically, someone could see in that window if we were standing in the right spot at the same time they were buy the window of their house, but we'll take that chance.

  • When I was in basic training it was 30 guys in a great big room. Everyone had a bunk and a footlocker. There were group showers and no privacy. It really didn't bother me because I knew it was only for 3 months and we were all in it together.

  • I did live very close to another house once, but they make these things called "blinds" or curtains so people can't see in :)

    • In this place, closing them was the same as having the windows closed, little to no air flow.

    • Not ground floor, secure building to get in and out of, near campus so lots of people usually around, so never felt too bad.
