I can't speak for others. For me, it was the feeling of never being good enough or unwanted and at least they could pretend to want to be with me. So I'd feel better AS I was with them but as soon as they left I'd feel worse. So I'd want more. A few of them gave me their numbers and real names and we'd hang out when they weren't working. Just normal girls... until they get a call at 11 PM and go to work and don't come back to bed until 5 am. Lots of stories. Since I got lucky (very lucky) now I look back on it as fun but I know I was playing a dangerous game and I'm lucky to be alive. I was never embarrassed being seen with them.
