So seeking women for sex only is ok yet gold-digging is wrong? Why the double standards?

Why is it okay for a man to only want and desire a woman for sex only with no intentions of a commitment or a serious relationship yet these same men will condemn a woman for only wanting a man for his money and resources without sex exchange or anything giving in return when they're BOTH interested in the opposite sex for their own personal selfish benefit.

Men date women for the most shallow reasons mostly for beauty and sex especially since men are obsessed with sex more than women.

I am not encouraging gold digging for that reason but all I'm saying is that once men stop seeking women for sex and looks then maybe I'll condemn gold-diggers because men have been getting away with this double standard for years. Your thoughts?

It comes down to deception really. A guy lying about what he wants, claiming to be there for the whole nine yards and so on when all he really wants is to cum and run is obviously a piece of shit. Because of the lies, not the want for sex.

Similarly in this case a gold digger pretending to be in love, wanting the whole package and so forth while really only being after money is also dishonest. It is again the lie and deception that is looked down on.

No one is walking around screaming at the heartlessness of Psychiatrists who pretend to be friends for money or heck, escorts who play the part of a partner for money. It isn't about what someone wants but how they go about getting it.

I agree. What difference does it make what you're using the other person for? Sex, money, status, something else? Some self righteous guys like to think it's ok to use each OTHER for sex, because then it's an equal trade. But if he actually gives you an allowance, or stipulated amount, and gets sex in return, well that's prostitution!! Oh, the shame of it. I guess if the guy didn't WANT sex and paid the same amount of money for her company and companionship, that means she's not a gold digger OR a prostitute? In that case, she's just a hired companion?

I don't have a problem with either, so long as they're up front about their intentions.

If the woman tells the guy she's only interested in his money, or the guy says he only wants sex, and everything is consensual, then more power to them.

If the person/people in question are just using the other, while pretending to want more than that, then they're a piece of shit, no matter what gender they are.

There isn't really anything wrong with it. Poor men just get mad about paying for sex. Though, rich men do, too. Just for a slightly different alignment of reasons (that is, same reasons, different emphasis).

As long as the people doing either are honest with what they are after then there really isn't a problem, it's when they do it on the sly and lead the other person on thats an issue.
Also they are slightly different things, seeking a woman only for sex tends to be a one tine thing, where as a woman after a man for his money is going to generally be a relationship, if he is fine with that then fair enough. I'm not condoning or justifying either, just making an observation.
