It'd be tricky; the phonetics of Dutch, while consistent (from what I've seen) are WEIRD, and different enough from both English and German that I'm pretty sure we'd end up giving up on spoken language and just communicating through interpretive dance by the end of the first month. That almost sounds kind of fun, but I think it'd be more trouble than it's worth, especially when a crisis comes up ("Okay, is she asking me to pass the butter, or telling me the house is on fire?").
