Also is being a racist an absolute life long condition? I used to tell and laugh at all sorts of racist jokes in HS. But nowadays I don’t find most of those jokes even remotely funny. I have made lots of friends from people of all different backgrounds. I have hooked up with Asian, latino, black and even Muslim girls. I’ve gotten to know people and it challenged some of my incorrect ignorant beliefs I had when I was younger.

@chrismaster69 What I do love about other cultures is that race isn't that big a deal, although that still isn't entirely true. Asians often dislike blacks and think of them as lower, and Asian women tend to see white men as superior. The Chinese government actually does not like black people. Europeans tend to be racist towards middle easterners and Africans, hating that both have mixed into their culture well in the last 15 to 20 years. In parts of Russia like St. Petersburg there are still neo-Nazis and Russians who severely dislike Africans and Asians. So I would say around the world racism varies but isn't an entirely non-existent thing that other countries think Americans make a big deal of.

Well, to be honest, latino is only a cultural term. There is not such thing as latino race. For example, an afrodescendant born and raised in LATAM would be latino; either for living in Hispanic America or Luso America. It's perceived as a general term, by us Latin Americans; however, in no way we interpret it as an "ethnicity"; in fact we are vastly multi ethnic and multicultural. A guy named "Alex Blake Cruise" or a woman named "Jenny Chang" would be equally latino, to a guy named, ,"Enrique Valle" or a woman named "María Souza". But, yeah, I think I get what you mean. In The Americas, we are all mixed, or at least most of us; without really knowing the extension of our diversity.

Been white in LATAM is understood in a different way. To be perceived like a white person, only skin color plays a factor. Following that reasoning, if you look white you are white.
