That's exactly what I say every time a woman or a man tells me it's easy for men to get laid. It's never in history being easy for men to have sex, in the 50's things were almost the same for the normal guys out there, the only ones who really benefit from the hook up culture are the "chads" and "Tyrones" as Incels like to proclaim.

I don't believe this is a abnormal though, it has always being this way, normal men have always struggled to get laid in the past, some researches show that throughout life most men have less than 10 partners in life, it's understandable what's happening.

However, I don't deny hook up culture exist. It does, but only for the top 20% of guys on the top of hierarchy and to the 80% of women who chase them. If you were one of them you would be loving the current situation, having threesomes with thousands of women without having to put a ring on their fingers, everything seems perfect if you were born with the right side of the genetic pool.

The top 20% of men get all the females it's pretty obvious. They will never get married to them because why get married and risk half your stuff being stolen when you can just date a new model every year. The women get into their thirties and go insane when no one wants them anymore society is falling apart but you can see why.

Women control sex. The decision whether it happens, when, how, etc. is a privilege they have. How many male virgins there are is completely independent of this. Hook up culture is when people are just having meaningless sex. Simply what we have is women are now more open to having meaningless sex and doing it a lot BUT you have to remember the 80/20 rule. The top 80% of women go for the top 20% of men. So really what's happening is that the rich, attractive, famous dudes are just getting more women than they can handle.
