It's my opinion that the only guys that do that are either insecure, or arrogant. They either want/need approval, or think they'll impress you with it.
Personally, I don't see the point. When I'm intimate with a woman, she'll see it herself, anyway, and her reaction will be appropriate at that time, so why bother?
