What do you think of bad grades?

They don't have a bad grade problem. It is an attitude problem or they aren't be challenged. It should be outside stress or lack of motive too but Most of the time it is an attitude problem. The attitude just manifest through the grades. They have poor self image of themselves in relation to school. It won't matter what you do they will get bad grades until they change the self image. You can force the grades to go up but they will go back down if you dont change the self image and attitude around school. If it is a motive problem, they would benefit from a life purpose or life goal.

I would try to find out if there is another issue going on, especially if she has never had bad grades before. There could be stress or something happened to them. If they are trying and still getting bad grades, I would try to help them understand where the confusion is.

Depends a lot how she actual is

Not actual dumb, just lazy bc I already knew I will never need that stuff again...

Now I'm 32, learning my 3rd foreign language, have collected a lot of knowlege in different topics, make and sell art, and people tend to tell me that I would be an awesome teacher... I'm just big with explaining things

Basically my teachers always emphasise this to me and it really helps.

If you put effort, but fail. And least you put effort, one day you will pass.
If you didn't put effort then there is no one to blame but yourself.
If you didn't put effort and passed, it's not something to be proud of.

She clearly has something more important to her than graduating. Usually something dumb because it takes close to 0 effort to get passing grades. I dont think anyone is dumb enough to legitimately fail k-12. Maybe if you're taking a really tough 3000-4000 level class and you get behind, it is possible to fail, but if you're failing in high school, you're just not trying.
