I'm really not a person into make-believe, and I'm not that imaginative to be honest, so this has never appealed to me. Roleplay can be fun but can also be boring, if you do it both of you need to really be in it, and your mind really into the part... otherwise might as well skip it.

I had a partner who was into roleplay, so I've done some.

That's a long story. But in short, she was a goody two shoes child of rich helicopter parents, went to private prep school and all that so she ended up pretty repressed. Was shy and struggled with sexual expression even when it came to reciprocation, so she was most comfortable with me taking the lead in everything sex related. And I suppose the consensual non-consent is simply the pinnacle in terms of the other person taking the lead, she can be a "slut" but since it's "against her will" it's not a shameful display.
