About buiyng butt plug from a sex shop?

I am from Bulgaria, but right now I am living in Leon, Spain. There is a sex shop here close to where I live, I want to go there and buy myself a dildo and butt plug for me, but honestly I am a little afraid and ashamed. I know that for most you it may sounds funny and pathetic, but it's the truth. So I need advice how can I overcome my fears and go and buy myself these things. I have never been in a sex shop before and maybe thats why I am afraid. Also, do you think its safe wearing butt plug and for how long I can wear it?

So far I visited Adult shop 3 times, and bought the rest online because it's a lot cheaper.

My experiences with the 3 shops were: friendly shopkeepers.

Maybe I was fortunate. All I needed was tell them I wanted da da da, they offered suggestions and I picked. Somehow these few made the conversations very light and enjoyable.

In fact, if the price were competitive with online, I would had gone back for more.

I do not expect you to meet similar shop keepers. But in my opinion, since these people sold adult toys everyday, nothing would embarrassed them or you.

Regarding butt plug:
1) make sure it's clean. Hence I only bought glass or stainless steel because it's easy to wash.

The people who run sex shops are not judgement and see all kinds of people every day. They are there to sell you their goods and make you want to come back and buy from them again. I've never been in a sex shop where I haven't been treated with the utmost of respect and the staff are usually very friendly and helpful. Then when you've made your purchase put it in a bag and walk out of the shop with your head held high as if you have nothing to be ashamed of, well because you haven't. Only those people who are too embarrassed to go in a sex shop themselves are judging you.
Remember that none of the people who might see you go in or cone out know you or will ever see you again and you don't have to care what they think of you anyway, they are strangers.

First of all you walk down the street pretending to be window shopping, in reality your checking friends or relatives aren't around.
Then you look like your about to walk past but quickly side step into the shop unseen.
A salesman will immediately pounce on you then lead you to the buttplug shelf, he'll also try and sell you lube and batteries.

It's a sex shop. Everyone else in there will be there for similar reasons. If it bothers you that much, order from Amazon if you want absolute discretion. As for butt plugs, they are nice to wear for sexy sessions but I have also worn one all day with no problems
