  • It’s a dominance thing. You surrendered your body to him and gave your body up to him. That is not the same “you’re mine” that are on Valentine’s Day heart candies.

  • Being possessive, Dominant type of thing.

    • It turns me on when he does. You give good answers from what I’ve read. So why do men like to feel possession?

    • It’s not just guys, girls are also possessive , Domminant, With guys it’s often that old cave man thing breaking out, where it’s ‘you are mine to breed with’ There is a bit of a split between being possessive and being Dominant. Someone being Possessive, are often overly possessive Whereas normally a Dominant is about control, but control within informed consent, A Possessive person saying you are mine, may actually 100% mean it, and can potentially go down the controlling access to others bit. A Dominant, should do this with your consent, you agree that you are his, mutual respect and trust. The worst types are Possessive Dominants. To keep things open and honest, it’s worth reminding the other person when they say ‘You are Mine’ Reply, ‘Yes I am yours, because I let you’ It’s that gentle reminder that power and control is given but can be taken away.

    • Yeah, he’s not possessive in daily life from what I’ve seen so far. The only time I’ve seen him get annoyed (irrationally in my opinion) was when I’d talk to other men in a totally friendly manner only - no interest in sex etc at all! And I’ve felt him on edge getting uneasy so I’d stop.
