When I was in high school, all my friends were doing it and my ex boyfriend at the time kept trying to pressure me into doing it, which I did not fall for, thankfully. I just never really had any interest in doing it with people in high school or just random people or people I clearly don't see a future with. So I don't know, I guess I'm just weird lmao.

Everyone knew all my best friends back home were male. Invisible protection at school. I never saw degrading behavior toward either or around me either though. Surprisingly. My generation were all active from incredibly young ages. So many had kids or were pregnant by graduation. It was all just accepted. Yes in school if you were a virgin you got picked on severely by people of both genders. Also if you had sex with a girl and you weren't good or if you were small she'd call you out for it. This never happened to me because I was not sexually active in high school. The virgin part would have been true. But that's why lots of us just lied and said we werent virgin. Crisis averted.
