If you sleep around, doesn't this effects a guy's bonding capacities too?

Levels of oxytocin are presented in both genders, not just women. If there weren't any then it would make every single father abandon their children without any feelings at all.

If you slept around and had many relationships that if a break-up happens, it won't mean much. You don't get affected by it. If you're able to replace someone so fast in just hours or days after breaking-up; I don't think that's normal. You're ability to bond is probably broken by then.

  • Monogamy is NOT natural for us as primate mammalian species.
We are polyamorous creatures by DEFAULT.

Read the book SEX AT DAWN by Cacilda Jetha and Christopher Ryan and open your mind, you've been brainwashed with this monogamy bullsh-t since birth and it goes totally contrary to your 'nature'

    • Then that's a reason several people will just continue cheating in relationship and marriages. That's also a reason people with continue having children with other men/women; bringing poor innocent babies into this Earth to be forever confused on how a healthy, loving and permanent relationship is like. Sleeping around really isn't normal at all. It affects your brain in your ability to bond. Mammals such as beavers and gray wolves actually are monogamous, often mating for life.

    • Before the European INVADERS came to the Americas, virtually ALL Native American Tribes were polyamorous and their poly lifestyle was a lot better than this one, especially for CHILD-REARING. You speak out of ignorance and cultural biased brainwashing. Research other cultures and you'll realize how foolish your statements are there. As to your few examples of mammals being monogamous, over 97% of all mammals are polyamorous with noted incidences of polyamory in the other 3%. And if you're gonna use any examples, then use our closest animal relatives who are the BONOBOS and CHIMPS who share over 98% the same DNA as humans. Neither Bonobos nor chimps are monogamous. You have a lot of research to do! Read the link below

  • I agree with you, and today's women have this issue all wrong. They spend all their energy complaining about the fact that men shame women for sleeping around. But what they should be doing instead is shaming men who do the same.

    • Exactly. I've seen this ridiculous episode about two women fighting over a man. Both of those women slept with that guy (one in the past and one is the current partner) but one of them says something along the lines ''He only used you for sex meanwhile I'm engaged to him. I'll be the last woman while you were just a an easy sloot''. As you can see in that example that's a way women themselves seem to be encouraging that behavior. She's focusing on just insulting the other woman instead of being equally disgusted at both genders.

    • Yeah, totally agree. Promiscuity is ugly regardless of gender.

  • well i guess ourdecisions are not justr based on hormons and emotions but also on what we think

    • So it's normal to be jumping from one random person to another like there is no tomorrow excessively?

    • well it seems like for many people it is as they do that. but personally i dont think thosekind of relationships are healthy, but noone said people always make good decisions it often involves selfishness and running away from responsability

  • Sleeping around isn't the same as the traditional relationships.

    • If someone keeps breaking up after only dating for 2-5 months and jumps from relationship to relationship like crazy like there is no tomorrow, isn't that too much too?

    • Ex: Someone had 20+ relationships (having intimacy but breaking up in such a short time, then doing it again and again)... is that normal to you?

  • I agree. And it has the same affect on women, whether they want to believe it or not.

    • I tried telling this to one of my friends and she thinks I'm exaggerating. The facts don't lie. That's a reason several people cheap in relationship or marriages.

  • That's the rational

    • No wonder many relationships and/or marriages fail!! If your ability to bond has been broken then you can easily cheat. It's funny nowadays many people think they can do the ''hooking-up'' culture during their youthful years but bond once they are older and get it out of their system. LOL..

    • They think airlines baggage not included policy is going to work to their advantage 🙄

  • I will never leave a girl who makes me happy
