Depends on individuals definitions of a prostitute.
Many here says prostitute accepts money, which in general is true.
For me, anyone who accepts material items in exchange for sex is a prostitute.
Hence a wife can and is a prostitute if she gives sex to her husband in exchange for a diamond necklace, so to speak.
The principle is: sex is being used as a means for material gain.
My broader principle for sex is: the climax of lovemaking. The only acceptable exchange is love and intimacy.0 0 0 0

Yes. Because you just made it a transaction requirement. What currency you use to trade sex does not matter. If it was a relationship the two would be disconnected. He would give her the dress because he wants to, not because he wants sex from her because of it. And she would give him sex because she wants to independent if she got the dress or not.
