welcome to the hidden truth about sizes and different brands. as far as i have seen in my lifetime, every manufacturer uses a slightly different measuring for each size in every form of clothing/shoes. while most brands will be very close to the same others are way off from each other. for example, most brands of shoes i wear men's 9 1/2 but there are brands where i have to go down as far as an 8 or up to 10 1/2. another example being t-shirts, where one brand i wear XL another that mite be a M and a 3rd brand that mite be as big as their XXXL. thats why you need to actually try stuff on before buying. then there is the pants leg length issue where to get the waist size that fits you, its often with leg length way too long (ocassionally too short) for you. and keep in mind this comes from the son of a seamstress who spent many years sewing clothes mostly to correct these issues.

Yeah and it's fucking annoying.

Yes. My experience, I noticed that the designer labels will label a size 8 pant (the actual size) as a size 3 or 4 or similar. I think it’s a marketing thing to make women feel small.
But I am a little short ninja type and I have a hella time with pant length.0 0 0 0Yes absolutely. Same goes with footwear too. It's just that the sizes vary a great deal with the brands.
It is frustrating yes. But I've learnt to live with it lol.1 1 0 0I don't want to have to try things on every time I buy pants it's so annoying

1 1 0 0Thats deep I never knew that could happen. Men sizes are all the same
And you have some beautiful eyes
Different brands? Or different eras of different brands? That really shouldn't change the meaning of sizes, but it does. This is why, when I rule the world, the highest level of formal clothing will be towels.
0 1 0 0It's happened within the same brands
ty for pointing out the different eras
@magiusX26 they're not different eras these were all bought brand new this year.
Yeah I think it's probably the brand name that you're buying in most cases this happened to me before but it's more in my boots like I can buy a pair of boots that are size 11 and I can go someplace else and buy another pair of boots and they're size 10 and then I've even bought a pair of boots that were nine and a half which I did not understand no matter what kind of clothes you wear your going to look good
0 0 0 0Unfortunately its happened to me buying the same brand and type of jeans in the same and different colors. Wore the first pair out, bought a new pair, the same exact size and got a black pair too, the blue pair fit (just) and the black pair were way too small.
Different brands with different measurements despite supposedly being the same size, especially if they're made in different countries. For example, an American 36C bra for me oftentimes turns out as 36D in some parts of Asia.
0 0 0 0I've had it happen with the same brand and same type of pants in different colors
No I only have kinda two sizes, my normal size for everything and one size bigger jeans for when I used to work out extremely
0 0 0 0I'm talking about the differences between the same sizes
Oh sorry I got it wrong, well then no
that's a bit sad
1 0 0 0yes and I have so far not found any jeans that are a perfect fit for me without a belt
1 0 0 0Yup! One of the more annoying parts about being female.

0 1 0 0not really. I can still fit into the same wetsuit I wore when I was 20
0 0 0 0I have pants like that too. one pair to big to remind me I need to loose some weight. One pair to small to remind me what I used to be like before the chocolate and cookies... lol and three to wear to work... I usually don't wear anything when at home or when I am on the computer...
0 0 0 0Yeah.
0 0 0 0Misses, juniors and women. The three categories of female clothing. Each with similar sizes. It looks like that's what is shown. I'm only guessing here though.
0 0 0 0No they are all women's clothing. Like I said all the same size.
I'm just expressing how annoying it is
Between a 6-7. Baggy but room to breathe.
