How were some women able to sleep around and drink in the past before feminism?

My maternal grandmother wasn't a goody girl waiting till marriage. My mom told me when she was a kid, grandma sometimes came home drunk and fell asleep till noon. She was a party girl, going on many dates. She eventually got married at the age of 35. She claims to have only had 3 relationships before her marriage (only 4 men in total) but my mother, one of her past ex bfs and someone else in the family knows it was a lot more. Similarly grandma's mother (great-grandmother) used to have a sleeping around past too.

If supposely feminism is the cause of more liberty in women's sexual behavior and drinking, how were some women like them able to still do that in the past?

But if you think about it is people like your grandmother that shaped a part of this world so what if she went out and did what you wanted to do is she was still a good parent if you spoke her piece if you didn't take any crap and she lives her life the way she wanted to she raised the daughter and I'm sure she helped raise and and probably molded you too in her own way your mother's somebody that needs to be respected because of who she is and what she did because they had a much harder life the people do right now and I would think that she would be proud of herself and everything she accomplished in her life

Feminism has been there since the beginning, so as prostitution is the oldest trade ever - not that there is any comparative relation on subject. Some societies had feministic aspects more than others at that early age, civilization too came early to some and most people came to know about feminism because those few aspects wanted to recruit more in other societies or parts of the world in the name of women rights. Civilization also helped push the narrative. So, people fucking around is old as it could be.

My grams was the same way. She had 3 kids with 3 different baby daddy's by the time she was 19. Apparently all the fathers were married men in their 40s-50s. Having sex with my teenage grandma. And she never raised any of her kids. My mom got raised by her grandma. So I think being slutty back then was more common then we might think.

What, exactly, do you think would stop them? All feminism did (in this particular area) was make some things more socially acceptable. If you were willing to take the backlash, you were free to do as you saw fit, same as today.

Those things still happened back then, but not nearly as often as they do today and it wasn't as accepted as it is today.
