Could be, but it depends on the reasons behind it.
If it's because they are waiting for marriage, that would be an automatic deal breaker to me personally.

But if it's because they decided to focus on education and career before relationships (and they can substantiate it), that wouldn't be a turn-off at all.

No it's not for single woman to be a virgin it's not weird or turn off. Many of us either have some religious beliefs or personal beliefs, that keeps us from having sex until marriage or at least very serious relationship. Not all of us are so lucky to find a good man in young age.

Its only a bit weird to me if the person is 40+ but i rather they be a virgin than give themselves to someone who doesn't deserve them

No, I really wish people stopped viewing losing their virginity as milestone goal.  Save yourself for the right person, only have sex with them.
